I feel it’s also important to note that naval ships (aside submarines) are very vulnerable to artillery

Battleships aren't that vulnerable to artillery, in fact battleships actually hurt artillery a lot more than artillery hurts battleships. And aircraft carriers almost always won't be hit by an artillery since the range difference is astronomical.

@@icel8828 A battle ship is more cost effective than a destroyer cause a battle ship can beat 6 and that's more than what a battle ship costs. Actually never mind destroyers are more versatile over all I guess but if you stack a battle ship with a destroyer or two its very strong and can be a very solid early to mid game fleet.

Naval mobility is still good for when you can't defend all your waters. For example, if you see that there are enemy troops landing on your island, you can just grab a destroyer and get to that place as quick as possible. In my opinion, prioritize naval mobility upgrades over naval damage upgrades. In fact, it would be best to max out naval mobility AND naval protection first before the other naval upgrades. But, hey, I'm not your dad, so if you feel like damage is more important, go for it.

personally I'll just do what the situation is effective enemy navy: damage large enemy artillery barrages: protection reconnosisance missions: torpedos also might as well research the oil reduction later in the game for a large navy without problems

This is an amazing video! 'Competitive' player here who wins basically every battle; This is an extremely useful guide, and I use these EXACT startegies myself and i have been using them for months. I hope this helps players get better! As the game is too easy for me, even when i don't trade with ais.

or just attack them with a large amount and let your troops entrench and wait for ai to come, but this is good for when u dont have a lot of mp

you forgot to mention artillery destroying your ships so yeah if you have an aircraft carrier then put it as far as u can from the artillery units and see if the arty units are in range if they are destroy them then u can begin bombarding land

I was playing the UK and the French had half of Europe and Soviet Russia was at war with Japan which was the global power at the time. I made a Naval blockade around the UK, placed artillery and AA along the coast and in major cities and i survived the onslaught of 24 million troops. It was a scary time

I hated when I would be transported 1m troops and all of a sudden a sub comes and all my troops are dead and planes just get shot down! If your moving troops bring a warship or sub with them to stop enemy ships from killing all your troops

Battle ship destroyer and aircraft carrier bomber and tanks holy its op and anti air craft and submarine and some artillery for ground its would be broken

So put a one of every ship in the middle of the ocean to defend the aircraft carrier completely

4:18 with that fleet you use around 69 units of oil: 30 oil units for AC 8 oil units for battleship 2 oil units for destroyers 0.5 units for submarines 30+(3×8)+(6×2)+(6×0.5)= 69

move them near troops. also if you want to bombard land units battleships and aircraft carriers are better. they also destroy planes

The Largest fleet I had was 50 Frigates 15 destroyers 1 Battleship 6 submarines up against china as India

Idk I always make my goal when I make a navy to get at LEAST 25-50 destroyers (baby numbers), 10 battleships, 15 submarines, and if I am feeling pro, 100 frigates for the funsies

it depend on your situation. Plane is more of a support unit, I normally use it late game. My tip if you want to use plane is stack them, 5 - 10 planes every division. so planes is worth it when you have a lot of money, 1 plane doesn't do much but a lot of planes can make huge impact. if you stack them like 100 bomber in 1 division, you can probably Scorch your enemy capital in seconds, you also need to watch out for enemy fighter, ships and AA. I've been using planes a lot lately, probably I will make a guide for that

ok so once I was tunisia I think and basically I annexed malta bc it’s quick cash but Albania got mad that I took it so he declared war on me. He invited all of his allies including the us, the us sends 5.5m million men in 1 stack in 1 ship all vulnerable so I make a destroyer and I attack the men sitting in the Mediterranean and somehow I kid you not, HIS MEN BEAT MY DESTROYER

I Was Once Playing As South Korea And At The Time Japan Was Attacking Me But I Was Counter His Troops, BUT Still It Was Very Costly, So I Made A Sub And Thank God I Did, Japan Was Sending 6k Tanks But My Sub Easily Killed Them In Water.

I once had a destroyer vs 10 million troops and my destroyer got annihilated
