When I found this channel, I was elated! I thought, "Oh boy! There's bound to be a plentiful supply of Toshiro Mifune content..." and I was all ready to subscribe. But a search of the channel revealed only this one video featuring Mifune-san. Aarrgghh!! Bummer. Ah, well...I subscribed anyway, because Zatoichi. So thanks for that...and this. I born in Japan and grew up in Argentina. Most of immigrants keep the old customs from the old days. My ancestors arrived to Brazil in mid 90's of XIX century. I saw a lot of Japanese movies (old and new) and always have the same question you have. I married a Argentinian Spaniard lady and didn't work for some reason. But I met a Japanese lady here in América and I was surprised how cheerfully she is, even when we have arguments. And I know in our circle , many of them , of course, with modern touch.
