My daughter watched this as her last film with her grandad (my dad). He died the next day. I never got to watch it with him but I want to be strong enough to watch it with my daughter. I love you dad. Rip 1946 -2023 ❤❤❤❤❤

Sometimes...we don't need a Byron or a Shakespeare to explain or describe what love is. You have described a loving experience that your daughter experienced...it is now your privilege and blessing to make it continue!!

Straight back to my wonderful childhood.

I just watched the 2016 "remake" of Swallows and Amazons yesterday, and what a complete mess they made of it. By contrast this little movie is a gem, following the story faithfully, and it's funny to see Julian Fellowes in it too!
