    Agni Das the Polgar sisters are amazing chess players but they weren’t the strongest humans in their discipline. The Brownlee brothers are exactly that so your comparison doesn’t work here.

    After swim 1.5km and ride 40km, they still can run 10km around 31'. Who runs for fun, knows how hard is this pace for 3'15", 3'20"/km. Amazing!

    I am a lifelong Powerlifter and Bodybuilder who has and always will be fascinated by the strength and muscle. Recently I have retired and am now fascinated by endurance sports like Triathlons and am training with swimming biking and running.     Jane Njenga for a lot of athletes finishing is already an achievement. In triathlon generally there a no losers. Crowd cheers even for a last finisher.

    Wow, once the Brownlee brothers finished their race, I immediately had tears in my eyes. I can't believe my emotions, happiness, and pride for these siblings was so present. Just to imagine the happiness from their hard work and determination... I shouldn't be surprised, but maybe it's because the 2020/2021 Olympics are just days away and I am so pumped for them! This was a great watch to psych me up for the Olympics later this week! :).

    It would have been really nice if the announcers or producers were able to tell us the speed they were running and biking and stuff like that to have a better idea of what they were accomplishing

    Agree, wanna see how that compares on avg to the other speeds of the professional sport. Like the only thing I know is biking, and biking at like avg 30mph(including hills) is what the pros be doing

    @@laurad9173 I agree but we had a trans woman compete in the weightlifting and 2 intersex athletes in the women's 200m who placed silver and bronze, both have far too high male hormone and cannot compete above 200m due to the unfair advantage it would give them over the women with normal natural levels, I don't think they should be able to compete unless they take drugs to lower their hormone levels or we may as well just let women and men compete against one another. Or else just let the other women take as much male hormone as they want to and then see who wins. They seriously need to look at the current rules and stop them being so unfair to 99.9% of women.

    I have a friend who lives in Tokyo. I'd booked my flights. We planned to attend the triathlon and track+field events. The rumours about Corona virus were circulating. Next thing the Tokyo marathon was elite-only (regular runners were told to not pitch up). Hardly any fans on the route... And BAM! Before you know it, lockdowns were happening all over the world. What I'd give to watch the Brownlee brothers and my countryman Schoeman compete again :'(

    Current swim suits are skin tight, so there is almost no drag; like almost nude.

    Treyr insane i''m 14 and after shortest race - 200m swim 10km ride 2.5km run i was almoat dead xdd can't imagine how they were feling mid race :D

    Excelente prova todos os atletas estão de parabéns pela superação que só os campeões conseguem. Eu gosto de ver estas provas mas esta em particular ou melhor este vídeo ficou a quem das expetativas, monótono me pareceu que só tinha os três primeiros atletas da frente em prova, lá atrás decorre momentos muito interessantes que deveriam ter sido acompanhados pela cobertura televisiva e o pós prova infelizmente deixou muito a desejar, sensação que apenas tinha 3 ou 4 atletas, na minha opinião se perdeu momentos muito interessantes durante a prova.
