2016 olympic is last year Zhang Jike play without too much pain, after 2016 he just trying to play for fun because his back is too painful and cant recover it. Zhang Jike play style hurts his back so much because his bad hand is different with normal people, is quick and high quality flip, he used it almost every time when he received serve, he gave too much pressure on his back. That’s the reason why China don’t recommend students to learn his style anymore, is good but also hurt much.

Wang Hao used it despite being fat and never had any problem with his back. ZJK's problem was his forehand which was pretty bad technically and compensated through pure muscling.Kong Linghui had the exact same injuries as ZJK and used a similar jerky swing style on the wide forehand.
He's a little kid on a big stage. He's representing his whole nation in his home country. He can scream after the point if he wants. Some people just want to hate him because he's young and he's a threat to the Chinese dominance.

Yeah, but that kid could probably 4-0 11-0 you every time and is 1000x better than what you can do in table tennis. Humble yourself here. Don't be one of those fans who worship their favorite players when they have an injury. If ZJK won with his injury, you would've been like "ZJK IS AMAZING! DESPITE HIS INJURY, HE STILL MANAGES TO GET A WIN. HE IS TRULY AN AMAZING TABLE TENNIS PLAYER. EVEN WITH HIS WAIST PAIN, HE PULLED THROUGH AND OVERCAME IT." However, when ZJK lost with his injury, "ZJK WAS INJURED! HE WASN'T PLAYING HIS BEST. NOT A FAIR FIGHT. ZJK WASN'T AT HIS PRIME." Very double standard for you here.

I think of him as one of the most talented players in the world. If he has a good day he can beat anyone. But he has to develop a bit more patience to reach the top of his game. And on the one hand I know that the majority doesn’t like his shouting, because it annoys them which I can understand. On the other hand I think of it (the shouting) as him showing his compassion for the game and success. For that aspect it has to be said, that he doesn‘t shout to irritate his opponents, but to push himself. That‘s the reason, why he always turns away from the opponent while shouting. And he isn‘t the only sportsman who does somerhing like that. Roger Federer, a tennis player and one of the most famous and beloved sportsman of the world regulary shouts „Chumm jetzä“ after the points he wins. (That‘s Swiss German and means: „Come on“ Many chinese players shout out „Choo“ after big/inportant points. With that, just like Harimoto and Federer do too, they show their will to win and their compassion for their sport. Therefor I don‘t see the shouting as annoying or disrespect, but much more as showing compassion for what you are doing and support it.

Harimoto was the more aggressive player throughout the game, risking much on every ball. Therefore he made many good shots and won. And 4 all those bitching about his "screaming", aka mental pushing: u just don't get what it is really about. Players have been asked if it annoys them when Harimoto celebrates his every point verbally and they stated it doesn't. They are professionals, they are focused on their game/mind. You are not the ones playing, u are only watching so stfu and keep your nagging to yourself. Zhang just reacted most of the time, playing passively and mostly made points when Harimoto missed. I don't care about any injury, u either commit yourself to playing or you don't. He clearly resolved himself to play so there's no lame excuse afterwards if you lose. It's disrespectful to the other player anyway. Zhang lost because he was weaker in this match, end of story
