But Ma Long is 9 years older than Fan Zhendong. Fan still has quite a long time to go when Ma is about to retire. Wang Chu Qin is only 3 years younger than Fan Zhendong. The majority of his career will be overlapped with Fan.

Most complete player ever. Highest level in table tennis ever. Zero weakness in his game. An absolute monster!

Fan zhendong is just a monster. A complete and utter power house and honestly with the level he played at in this match it says a lot about WCQ that he kept it in there and won two games.

WCQ’s game strategy is similar to Lim Jong-hoon; on serve 3rd ball attack and fast and spiny return on receives. In rallies he pins the opponent on backhand and then on loose return pivot and go for deadly forehand loop kill. This works against most but does not work so well against left handed players and smart players with incredible skill such as FZD. FZD on the other hand is a very complete player, very dynamic; capable of explosive winners from both forehand and backhand as well as touch and placement of the ball. Also FZD does not seem very EAGER to win. To me, he looks like he has found that “inner peace” when he is on court. Even though WCQ is currently at number 2 spot, in reality the difference in the the skill sets between the two is miles apart. Bravo FZD

FZD can attack both BH and FH equally well, mentally strong, very few weaknesses in his game.

Congrats to my favorite player, the World Singles Champion, Fan Zhendong! Wang Chuqin is not as strong as Fan but came back from 5 - 10 and won the 5th against Mr. Fan, that was mentally tough with skillful executions. Wang Chuqin will be a future ITTF World Singles Champion.

I love Wang's style so much but Fan is the worst possible match up for him. One of the reasons Wang has the advantage over Ma Long is his cross court forhand goes directly to Ma Longs weaker side but with Fan you are hitting it to the best back hand in the world. Fan also seems to be the only one who can push Wang far back from the table and he won almost every open rally they played. Congratulations to Fan this is now his era

Don't forget Ma long is 9 years older than Fan Zhendong. I don't think Fan Zhendong has peaked yet. He can still envolve. Wang Chuqin is only 3 years younger than him. It is not comparable like Ma Long and Fan Zhendong.

These two individuals are the best, having nearly twice the points of the world's 3rd and 4th rankings.

I said it before fan is one of the only ones that can make a if Wang is still far way from where he is don't forget Wang is unbelievably good but fan always just okays better against him his strokes is incredibly powerful Wang is super fast fan still manage to hit even harder which is unbelievable when I saw him doing serves and serves return for literally a hour and a half he never looked around him not once he was so focused this for me is extreme high level focus imagine keeping extreme focus on a simple thing that's why his on this level once again table tennis at its highest level and fan is on a different level.

Wang lost mentally, you could clearly see he didn't believe in his victory anymore after being 1:2 down. No "Choles!" anymore. He was so passionate in the beginning. Zhendong started slowly but improved and adapted like a real pro. His mental game is very strong. Of course, he also has more experience than Wang

Nope! There’s requirements for how much of the blade has to be made of wood (blades can have composite materials like carbon fiber), but there’s no restriction on size, shape, or weight. The blade has to be ittf approved though, which means you can’t just use something you made in a garage… The rubber has to ittf approved, but other than that there’s 100+ options. “The stickiness of the pad” is determined by manufacturer, and only Chinese rubbers are like that. You can’t change the rubber tackiness legally and use it. The rubber can’t be tampered with outside the factory it was made in (though many people boost their rubbers which is technically illegal too)

FZ has the best backhand it seems. So any lefthander with a good forehand will find it less effective weapon. FZ can return more than usual. His forehand is not as good but still good enough to punish his opponents.

From lots of auxiliary traces, someone illegally broke into his dormitory and broke his original racket the day they set off for WTT Xinjiang. Pros are very sensitive to their rackets, and there’s only one month left before Durban. So he has to choose one of his backup rackets. The tape is thought to match the spins and weights of his original rackets as closed as possible.

CTTA wanted to bury this, but this was immediately released by an famous anonymous account on social platform with a police notice. Therefore, they have to let Fan Zhendong made a public announcement. No official information further for what he was actually stolen or broke. 2. CTTA immediately silenced all medias they could control, and no table tennis medias mentioned it from the beginning. They also silence the police to make official announcements as usual. 3. Fan was stayed in Beijing for two more days, and then arrived Xinxiang when competition had already begun. Then the side tape was seen for the first time ever on his racket in his entire career. 4. All mainland medias stayed silent on this, but during his match with Lin Shidong and Lim Honghun, commentators from Taiwan, who CCTA could not control, kept questioning what’s wrong with his racket, why he changed his forehand positions during the match, why his rubber seems stuck, why he made so many unbelievable mistakes at his level. Even if I didn’t do any reasoning here, these are all public facts happened.

Weird that Wang Chuqin was not faulted for his service toss. The ball barely rises on his toss.

Besides being a table tennis fan (obviously), I´m a fan of this commentator (the one who seems to be older)! His voice is so similar to one certain tennis commentator (who commented on TennisTV videos just until last year)... I wonder if he is the same person... What´s his name?

why fzd played only 10 matches?

Chuqin must learn to better dose his energies if he wants to become number 1. In the first set he screamed and squirmed like a fury; then he faded away during the match. This can't be good. However there were fantastic exchanges...

Such a shame he did not property celebrate with the crowd ... but hey, you are the champ, You do as you please 😊

After Macao 2023. After Singapore 2023 After Xinxiang 2023 After Durban 2023 and now... After WTT Ljubljana 2023, there is no doubt in my mind that the die had8 been cast, and it is now a fait accompli that Wang Chuqin + Fan Zhendong will represent China in the Olympics in 2024 (France). The weakness of Ma Long's backhand and his inordinate reliance on the forehand, even when in the backhand position, has effectively extinguished his sun. He is done.

大赛两个认都有点手紧，大头年轻点更早进入状态，问题就是第二局的后半段，大头的心态没调整好，随着闪光灯事件注意力有点分散，这就是心理成熟度和大赛经验的问题，结果占优的一局丢了，这对大头影响很大，虽然第五局奇迹般的完成逆转，但是东哥手感已经上来了，越打越开，大头再次陷入落后，心里清楚奇迹不会有两次，总之今天两个人打的并不精彩，但非常理解，看着运动员腿上的绷带，背后的艰辛只有自己知道，无论如何，小王路还很长，东哥实至名归，恭喜二位！

不要每次用闪光灯作借口好吗？ 就像男双比赛时，后面明明就是只有挡板没有任何观众坐在那里，然后王楚钦的粉丝又开始造谣说后面有人开闪光灯，幸好有现场的球迷拍下现场的布置是怎样的!每次输了你们粉丝就开始拿闪光灯造谣对手是吧。 还有就是现场有开闪光灯的，对场上的两位运动员都是有影响，如果你作为一个运动员看到闪光灯，你可以跟裁判说处理一下啊，而不是每次都情绪不稳定指着观众破口大骂，为什么别的运动员可以冷静找裁判处理呢？而他每次都不能控制自己的情绪呢。 还有就是为什么每次国际大赛都有运动员说王楚钦发球遮挡呢？凭什么这么多的运动员打比赛没被说发球遮挡，而他经常被对手指出发球遮挡呢？真的没必要每次用闪光灯作借口，而且在3月新加坡比赛中，也有闪光灯且在局中休息期间此人的相机一直都是拍着王楚钦，这足以证明开闪光灯的是王楚钦粉丝。

當王楚欽第六局被樊振東領先很多時，王楚欽又開始急了，又開始使用王遮榮耀了！從慢鏡頭可以看出他發的球已經貼在臉上了，這樣發球可以讓對手判斷不出他是發什麼球，但他這樣做就是大錯特錯了！從第六局來看，王楚欽的勾手發遮球，平常人真的很難判斷得出他發啥球，但是對手的實力強呀，能判斷出他想幹嘛呀，並且能接到球拿下了得分啊！ 運動員想要拿得好成績還是好好練球踏踏實實的打好每一分，而不是一味想著用什麼發球手段才能讓對手接不了球，從而讓對手丟分！ 無論輸贏也要打得坦坦蕩蕩吧！而不是每一次上場打球都被對手只對你指出發球有問題！這個應該好好反省一下吧！ 我是乒乓球迷，無論誰的比賽(不分國籍)我都會看！以上的上述只是實事求是講事實！

Someone illegally broke into his dormitory on April right before the team set off for WTT Xinxiang Series. And two days later when he ran warmup in Xinxiang, it was the first time we saw the tape on his racket in his career. During the competition , commentators from Taiwan kept questioning if there’s something wrong with his racket when he played with Lin Shidong and Lim Jonhhoon. However, since his national team immediately blocked all related medias and players including himself talking this further to the public. So no one knows what the suspect stole or broke. But there’s one guess that the suspect broke his racket，and he has to use the backups. As you know professional rackets are very sensitive to them, so the tape might be used to make this backup racket close to his primary.

Felt like Fan was playing against Wang and the commentators ...
