Same for me omg was so intense !!

Never before have I ever watched a table tennis match while standing up in front of my computer. That was a great match and had me on my feet during those last few points. Congrats, Bernadette!

That Bernie's Tomahawk Serve is very tricky, Topspin and underpin looks pretty much the same and Adriana had trouble reading it

Her serve was the onky reason why she stay in the Game. I am sure, without her serve she have no Chance. Diaz is clearly the better Player.

@@valihinker6390 serve is part of the game, and is mostly the most important part of your own game, bernadette 3rd ball game is superb, and adriana counter is lethal, but when adrianna started to adapt to bernadette 3rd ball, bernadette started to unleash a master class of a serving game, adriana started to just past the ball to counter attack bernadette topspin inicialization, in wich became the whole standard most of the 3th and 4th game, resulting in a war of atrition in wich the one making less mistakes ended up winning, and even if you look at the end of the last set, bernadette started putting presure on adrianna back hand forcing adrianna into defense even though adriana backhand smash is excellent, she didnt used in the whole game until the end making it a risk to use and resulting in mistakes by adriana loosing important points.

@@SuperShadowmetal I would agree with almost all you said, but I think the endgame was mostly decided by the net touches. Bernie had a huge net to 7-7 and Adriana had a net's-out at 9-9 creating a match point for Bernie. In close match-ups, nuances like net and edge-ball can turn the tides easily. Bernie's serve game was great, Adriana could slowly adapt, but I think altogether Adriana is a more stable player --> better counterspins, drives, smashes, and great chops, pushes on both sides. Sadly, Adriana did not use any topspins with higher arcs and spins. That might have done the trick for a several points against Bernie. Nonetheless, a pretty tense, high quality match, indeed!

ADRIANA solo perdió a las re-justas 2x3 con Szocs. Cualquiera pudo ganar. Además, en el último set y definitivo, Szocs perdía 8x9. Si Adriana ganaba el punto que seguía y se ponía 10x8, dificil que Szocs ganara. Igual, Szocs ganó a las justas pero merecidamente. Pero Adriana sigue mejorando a pasos agigantados. Bernie is more experienced and annoys many but not all opponents with her tomahawk serve. On the other side Adriana is 5 years younger and has more raw power. It would be interesting to see them playing against each other again.

ADRIANA was really just this close to win. She just lost 2x3 against Szocs. Anybody of them could have won. Besides, in the 5th set Szocs was losing 8x9. In case Adriana had won the next point, I find it very difficult that Szocs could have achieved the victory. Anyway, Szocs won and it was well deserved. But Adriana is steadily improving greatly day after day. Well played Adriana, next time is yours. ¡GO ADRIANA! ¡GO LATINOAMERICA!

I wrote that Bernie won without discussion and that she deserved it. And, isn´t this enough for you? So, never forget that the bitter way you react to my comment clearly shows that despite the result of this match, you aren´t really convinced of Bernie´s supperiority over Adriana.

Beauty of some of these rubbers allow one to receive a slam and by just placing the racket in the balls path the ball rebounds correctly to the opponents side. i use wakaba 3000 rubber and it does this Notice Diaz racket does that

Butterfly Dignics 64, it's a modern, more speed oriented rubber. Same pimples structure like Tenergy 64. If you like to block and punch more instead of spinning the ball on the backhand side, this rubber may suit your style.

Que partidazo, en lineas generales Diaz tiene una tecnica mas pulida, y un juego mas agresivo que Bernie, pero no logro sorpenderla con sus saques, los saques de Bernie eran engañosos, los topeados se veian muy parecidos a los cortados, si me preguntan hay mas chance que entre en la mesa , empujando los que parecen topeados y topear los que parecen cortados que tratar de cortar los topeados que parecian cortados, ya que ni cerca de la mesa terminaron las devoluciones, eso termina bajando un poco la moral, le falta lectura de saques a Diaz

no se trabaja en general en latino america el saque y la recepcion. noto que a los jugadores y jugadoras no les interesa.. cuando sacan ponen la pelota en juego y punto. en el mundo real cuando sacas si lo haces bien, ya sabes que esa pelota jamas regresara. tal como en el tenis debes contar con un 50 porciento de ases o 30 minimo o si no, no puedes competir al maximo nivel.

Adriana es mucho mejor jugadora que la rival en terminos generales, pero se mostro muy por debajo en saque y recepcion, ahi es donde perdio los puntos y el pase a los octavos de final, en general en toda latinoamerica, los jugadores y jugadoras, son muy debiles en saques y devoluciones. se supone que la mitad de los puntos que sacas deben ser puntos DIRECTOS o como minimo un 30 porciento. sin embargo aca simplemente nos limitamos a poner la pelota en juego.
