“He almost came inside the table.” Lol I had an Indian boss once who would become distraught if our area was behind in housekeeping. He’d say, “ if all this looks so unkempt when the area boss comes, he’s gonna come on my head.” The hardest I’ve ever had to fight to keep from erupting in laughter

That commentator is so biased and probably racist. Just listen to her carefully and notice how excited she gets when Lebrun gets a point... she was obviously rooting for Lebrun. Very very bad.

Cela fait huit mois que A.Lebrun joue sans âme, sans liant, sur un mode Robocop et laissant apparaitre de la fragilité ++. Et je n'entends pas beaucoup de critiques à son sujet. J'apprécie Alexis mais il me déçoit depuis sa victoire sur Fan ZD. Il ne fait plus peur à personne dans le TOP 50 mondial, ce qui n'était pas le cas début 2023.

The commentating was different so refreshing no bias for the European player that we are so accustomed to . Some about what was happening not wishing one player to win over the other in this case its simple just calling the game.

I thought the rule for serve was the toss needs to be straight up? Lebrun does this; on Aruna's forehand serves, the toss is always 12-18" to the rear... Am I wrong?

It's a very lax rule with no specification for any angle from vertical though.

Watching from this high camera angle is a waste of time. So I have turned it off, and I am watching the European top 16 instead. The European top 16 has great camera angles, the way the sport has been presented over the years. I am sure many viewers are also switching this WTT experimental disaster to watch other table tennis events that present the sport the way it should.

Very awful and boring commentary...The game goes with sweet and articulated commentary.
