So in conclusion the only units that were able to kill the Men at Arms were Vargerian Guards, Iron reapers, Yolo cav, and Myrmillions (unless I spaced out and missed someone). Everthing else lost, and most units lost without killing more than a few Men at Arms. (Most Cav and ranged wasn't tested)

You were right, after that video you uploaded many players in Asia Server uses their Menatarms right now. This Unit been ignored for sometimes now and I think they kinda line up to Meta.

After a couple of matches with the Spear Sargeants I see they are very good at pluggin gaps more quickly than the ISG, but even not having the absurd tankiness of the ISG they still do their job and can hold untill the team helps you. Also the advance is good at catching heros offguard since they basically insta kill and with the Polearm's Rough Justice you can stick the enemy heroes in place and let the spears do their job.

At this point it's about which meme units out-meme other meme units.

Did those palace guards have Ironside and sprint to stack the buff? Also he needed to do a quick charge into crouch. So you press 1 on them then spam the other unit orders then press 2 again. He should have at least had 1 more crouch. Top line rest bot. Stack defensive doctrines.

You forgot "MAA VS Treb" - as they die to that quite easy^^ My main deaths with them are: Treb's and Cav (most cav's just run over them)

how do you get to a stage to test these things? i feel like in this game it's really hard to learn new things. i can't figure out how to get into empty maps. i just got into a game on a map i had never of my life seen before, and i'm just supposed to know where to go and what to do while being shot at by mortars and archers? I still have no clue how this map works, because it was just impossible to go anywhere without being killed immediatly.

Are men at arms got nerfed ? I don’t feel them tanky like before if it’s yes are they still good like before ?

Btw i ussed my not good runes and max upgrade highlanders ,and highlanders killing them pretty well if you use full combo

im grinding honor and signicula for MAA it looks really good

They still get ran over in the big furballs, this just simply lets them survive encounters where normally they'd have been mowed over against singular units that probably should not have been able to do so.

I got them maxed yesterday. 7 hero kills, 1 iron reaper unit, 3 onamusa units and orochi samurai 😂 they overpower everything in the game. Even beat yolo cav 1 on 1

Did u not test Retiarii and jav sergeants? Both have high alpha damage or burst and could be a Potential threat, but dunno if its enough

Spear sergeants aren't too bad, less damage, but pretty dam tanky with the heal. Pretty good for a support unit that you never need to go back to the supply to heal

Men at arms are now super tanky pref. Guards in comstant drill mode

ngl i kind of wanted to see stalwarts vs them in a tight area just to see how they do in their ideal environment against them.

Try against imperial javelin with ability 3 from full mastery !! I have them do u wanna do test ?

Full mastery imp javelin are one of the best at killing them. There shield throw is just about enough to wipe them

I've fully mastery it, going to make a video but it's not looking good

No side effects from 2x noble doctrines with the 3%heal so strong

I used my scrolls on spear sergeants. It's good but when I watched this, I really want to reset the mastery and use it all on men at arms now.

They eat pike walks. They break through spear sergeant shields, they tank cav charges, they tank javelin throws, they flawlessly defeat other sword/shield units of the same tier, and are overwhelmingly stronger than the unit which is a direct upgrade to themselves (paladins)

Ppl get the idea that they are now something comparable to yolo cav. I had unmasteried and not even elite lvl MAA's and shit someones Onna Mushas cause he missplayed them. Honestly i think i killed mostly with my hero there. Then he went to say "OMG SO BROKEN UNIT!"

For Paladins, X V is not the move You want them to be as dispersed as possible and let them have their shield up at all times when fighting. X v is bad now unless you're chasing someone running lol. But. Don't X V, don't charge. Charging also bad unless you're chasing

Fortebaccio pikeman will do good in matches based on this Had no idea how scary are men in arms, wont try to kill them with my hero anymore

When i play them with maul the only counter is 3 guys with army focusing me. When hero die the unit melts.

People were sleeping on maa they were soloing Mushas and maidens even before the mastery ... top line with some block doctorines allready made them A+ unit imo this mastery just add flavor im sad people are going to abuse them now and they are going to get nrfed so badly they are going to be unplayable for the next 10 seasons.

Yeah they were pretty decent. They got an additional Buff with mastery (the frequency of shield Bash) Des overdid it. currently the heal ist about 360 per sec. They could easily tune it down to 1% (120).

@@Plumsion orochi wasnt in tight formation to get the full damage benefits , those huskarl didnt spam their 3 skills instead he waited after first ability was used. maidens should have been on cover commander from the start cos once the formation is discrupted you dont do as much so there was delay on that .
