Thank you for sharing this historic opening of the Ismaili Centre and the Aga Khan museum which will enhance and increase understanding, dialogue, pluralism and shared values by all canadians. And, as His Highness the Aga Khan said "What we dedicate today is what we identify as an Ismaili Centre, a building that is focused around our Jamatkhana but which also includes many secular spaces. These are places where Ismailis and non-Ismailis, Muslims and non-Muslims, will gather for shared activities - seminars and lectures, recitals and receptions, exhibitions and social events. These meeting halls and lounges, work offices and conference rooms will serve the organisational needs of the Ismaili community. But they will also, we trust, be filled with the sounds of enrichment, dialogue and warm human rapport, as Ismailis and non-Ismailis share their lives in a healthy gregarious spirit!"

Ya ali madad iam from afghanistan and so happy to hear this amazing news that my spiritual leader the highness princess aga khan did and build this awsome museum for all muslim around the world I know that our uneducated people did worse the name of islam but thanks mawlana azzir imam for such a wonderful work we always was witness of your works and especially tnx from non ismaili friend that they admire us and said be proud to have aga khan sure we are tnk full from our allah at the end allah bless of us and unsafe countries become safe ameen.

I believe it is called the Oud - from Syria and dates back to over 3000 -5000 years

In the program the names were Pooria Pournazeri and Ziya Tabassian. I think they are both from Montreal.
