41:12 I think those tracks coming from the right link Rickmansworth Station to Croxley Station and is only used by two passenger trains a day, one of them is at around 5:30am and the other one is around midnight

This S Stock train went between Willesden Green and Neasden distance of 1.198 miles in 1m 15s average speed 57.5 MPH the A Stock rail tour second run did it 1m 03 s average seed 68.5 mph. A Stock win again

Look at the reflection of the people at the start. It is hard to fathom, despite my visits there in the 1980's and 1990's, that the people could seem so sad when living in the center of the Anglophone world.

It even does that on most deep level lines. The only lines where it doesn't really go that rural are the H&C, Circle, Victoria and W&C.

Why did they have to change the timetable for fast trains peak only? I miss riding on the a stock from Baker Street to Amersham. Why did they change the terminus for the fast trains to aldgate?

How I love this rail system! If I ever get the chance to visit the other side of the planet again I'm determined to ride the whole bloomin' thing. I tried to do this in 1984 but was thought to be quite mad so gave up on the idea. Unfortunately since then the Epping to Ongar segment has been scapped so I can't do this as a Tube journey. Ah well, I can always watch these videos.

Someone pls answer but do you have to purchase a ticket to go to Amersham or could you use a oyster card and if so for a 16+ oyster card how much is it there and back?

I know I'm 9 years late, but you can use an Oyster card for the whole of the Underground, Overground, DLR, Trams and TFL owned bus routes. National Rail and the Elizabeth line, not always but still in most parts. As of 29/3/2024, an off-peak Oyster fare from Aldgate to Amersham is £4.80 and a peak one is £7.90.

what a shame half of the annoucments where edited out. Runined it for me.

updating rolling stock is a good thing in my opinion, these S stock trains are not too bad but we have to understand that the A stock and D stock and the 1975 stock piccadilly have been around a long time and that a more modern and 21st century approach is needed I have no doubt that all lines soon will be ATO operated with a driver present for emergencies and manual operation such as Victoria and Central at present it cuts down on human error at signals etc and a more smooth ride in my opinion
