Sorry Moana, but your obvious bias is showing. Winston owned this "interview", and your lack of an open mind is also obvious. The Labour/Maori/Greens are gutless and clueless, and assume that all Maori think the same, and any Maori who don't, are "uncle toms". Well I'll wear that badge with pride, as apparently to live in a democracy, we must all think the same. Sorry not sorry, that my opinion is not the same as yours.

What a terrible interview by Moana. Talks of inflammatory words and dog whistling, then spends the entire interview putting up strawman arguments, throwing out one liners and generally doing her best to ignore any details that don't fit her agenda. If someone comes out and says democracy is under threat, then is specifically targeted or marginalised by msm like this, something is clearly not right. Ive seen a lot of msm characterise WP, make assumptions and associations, but generally speaking completely ignore (or purposefully distort) what he is actually saying. Reminds me a bit of Cathy Newman interviewing Jordan Petterson. She's soo shameless in her agenda it's just embarrassing. Enough is enough, we need to kick these woke individuals into touch.

I watched this and found it very interesting. My judgement is that, Moana Maniapoto and people like her. Like Willie Jackson and all the other Maori politicians/leaders (bar Winston), and others like them have a "massive" chip on their shoulders. Bad attitudes and always victims!! Winston is right with his view that as he said. In providing opportunities and a good education will allow Maori to do whatever they want and achive in this life. Don't look to the Pakeha to give a "help up". They don't "need it". That's long gone. Theirs is this chip on the shoulder that Maori seem to want to always have "hand outs". No! Maori are just like the Pakaha. Both have the ability to better themselves by hard work and education. Stop living and dwelling in the past. Winston is a living example of multiculturalism and determination.

New Zealand is Slipping further and further behind in in all fields of society. You notice it more and more when you spend time studying how other countries are doing. We are dumbed down with all fields of the media. Our politicians act like children squabbling in the yard. Do they really have our interests at heart? Or is it just all smoking mirrors. This country has serious issues to face. They won't be soved by what is currently being dished up. WEF, WHO and the UN, have some very disturbing plans for the world. SIT UP AND TAKE NOTICE Moana and NZ. The plan is to take it all away from from us. " You will own nothing and be happy " see what Claus Schwab at th top of WEF has planned for us all. I agree with a lot Mr.Peters has to say, I always have. I have a deep respect for the man and don’t doubt his love for the people of this country. I had a hard time determining if this was a tongue in cheek comedy interview based on some of the ridiculous questions and statement by the interviewer. In my opinion the interviewer is almost unwatchable, she is so agenda driven and lost in her own internal biases of her own or her employer. Sadly this has become the norm for anyone who challenges the status quo. He is a man of common sense which a lot of people are sorely missing in todays world. Unfortunately the thing I can’t seem to shake is that he made the deal with the Labour that started this whole mess to begin with. He was either lied to or made an unfortunate judgement, either way it has made me still considering where my vote will go.

I have never seen a greater divide in ideology in the western world in my lifetime, perhaps I am not just old enough to have first hand experience. Or perhaps the media are exploiting are differences and blowing things out of proportion? I have worked with every Maori Health Provider in Northland. Some are good, most were not. I saw corruption, nepotism, fraud and bullying at the management levels. Example 1. This organization's management were all from one whanau who paid themselves six figures whilst underpaying skilled professionals. One of their managers assaulted a minor in their tax payer funded youth program. But the independent investigation lead to nothing. Their community despises them because they serve themselves with flash cars, trips and catered hui, whilst their people struggle. Example 2. Another organization was paid $100,000 + to provide asthma nurses to the community which they never did. About that same time the staff (myself included)who hadn't had pay rises on 3 years were told,' You are lucky to have a job' at their Xmas function. I love working with whanau, and quite frankly Maori deserve better than that. Ideology has become more real than facts. Has anyone interviewed Maori communities on their experiences. You can't create a reason for bad stats out of thin air without proper investigation. That is exactly what Moana has done. In my experience Maori really just want good access to good healthcare without a middleman skimming off the top.

Understanding MMP means that it's not the time to talk about if NZ First and Act can work together, those discussions come after the election, and stances change when the results come out. It's silly to focus on stances before the election, at the expense of drilling down into policy. David Seymour made a mistake ruling out NZ First in my view, watch him change his mind when the numbers come in. First things first Moana, not relevant at this time.

It's Seymour, Winston doesn't have a hatchet with him, so Seymour needs to drop it, not both of them. Agree, they could work very well together if Seymour pulled his head in a bit and as you say work for NZ

Hey Moana, aparthied means, separating, setting apart based on racial or ethnic grounds, such as Maori health authority, waiparera trust, maori affairs, whanau ora, oranga tamariki, te ture whenua maori land act. Its time you elitists woke up to the truth . Your days of overprivalage are numbered.

Yes Winston Maori like everyone else, originally migrated from outside NZ . However, Maori & Mori ori earned & inherited their land & birth right soverign ownership, through Maori MO, ancestral NZ land Wars. It's their tribal ancestors " blood spilt on NZ land" defending themselves, lovedones , communities & their environment. NZ Maori & MO, earned & inherited, their first people's indigenous titles.

Moana and her cronies are a big reason why we left NZ. So out of touch it’s not funny. And I’m sure we’re not the the only ones. Winston is a ray of hope to those who remain in NZ, god help those remaining if he’s not the next prime minister.

WP pandering to the grass roots is just antii Māori pākehā. If he indeed makes it to the behive then NZ identify swings back to the colonial thinking. WP can barely pronounce Reo which says alot to me where his thinking is at. To me it looks like he wants to wipe Māori and all her gains out.

Did you watch the whole interview? He said what he wanted for Maori, the interviewer Moana said that was what Maori wanted too. Hard to figure how you came to those conclusions.
