Thank you!! That is the plan for the space. It was going to have a gold simulator and then we had plans for it to be a cinema. I’m sure it will get there in the end x

Really lovely home and I like that you removed the doors to the dining area. Magic! Also I knew straight away those were Cotswold company sideboards. 😊 So distinctive.

Is so welcoming and lovely. Maybe face the couches towards each other with a small table in between. It feels too open and doesn’t define the seating area.

Thank you! I would have loved to have done something like this but the room is quite narrow and long, I don’t always think the camera shows this. Once my girls are older we will add a coffee table to ground the room but for now they love playing and rolling about on the open floor x

To close off patio doors like that is such a tragedy. Not only are you stopping that beautiful sunlight that will hit the carpet on warm sunny days, but you are stopping light coming through. Change that flooring from carpet to wood or tiles.

The carpet is brand new so we won’t be changing it! We haven’t closed off the patio doors, the light still pours into the room. It’s a beautiful sunny room and the layout works perfectly for us.
