As a Great-Grannie, Grannie and Mum, please may I just say that your home looks so cosy and full of happiness. When I was a young girl growing up both my Grannie, who was a Mum to 6 and my Mum, who was a Mum to 4 would say these following phrases: ‘Don’t put it off until tomorrow because tomorrow’ never comes. ‘Don’t put it down, put it away’. ‘Once started, don’t stop’. This usually applied to smaller tasks such as clearing the table, washing and wiping up, until finally putting all dishes, pans and cutlery away. Lastly, The kitchen is the first room you come into in the morning. So to have a good start to the next morning, always at the end of the day, leave a kitchen clean,tidy and fresh. All easily remembered and easy to see through.

Ah, a kindred spirit. A speed clean and a deep clean every couple of months. Being retired and with arthritis “speed clean” lasts for 3-4 days. But you are amazing, with all you do! You have a beautiful family and a beautiful 🏠 home! Love your channel❤️‼️

My favorite videos!! Love the cleaning ones!!! Your putting away of the clutter reminds me of a phrase I once heard someone say (and need to be better at), “don’t put it down, put it away”. Ninety percent of the messiness in our house is just clutter that needs putting in its place!

Your home is beautiful, and here in the UK, we've said "hoover" regarding vacuuming since the beginning of time, so I don't see it as a problem myself. Nice to keep our sayings /ways I think in all honesty rather than try to adopt Americanisms (heard another UK KZreadr say "fall" in her video the other day - I cringed, autumn is a much nicer word anyway, again in my opinion!) You're all set for Christmas decorating now, enjoy! Xx

Hi Sarah it is nice to get the house cleaned up before the Christmas decorations go up Ella will be so excited when she sees them.

Yes it's tidy time here too. I like to get all the deep cleaning done before the 10th of December. I even spot paint if I have to. That way we bring on the be year clutter free. We send out donations by the first week of December as well.
