Full House Run for Camp Rogers Rats to Box 1584
We are at quarters of FDNY Engine 249 and Ladder 113, Camp Rogers Rats, at 491 Rogers Avenue, where we see both companies as they respond first due to Box 1584 for a Class III alarm at SUNY Downstate University Hospital at 445 Lenox Road between East 35th Street and Brooklyn Avenue. Engine 310 and Engine 255 were 2nd and 3rd due engines. Ladder 174 was 2nd due truck. Battalion 41 was the sole Chief assigned to the Box. The call ended up being a false activation, and the alarm panel was reset. Engine 249 is a 2015 KME Severe Service Predator. Ladder 113 is a brand new 2024 Seagrave Attacker with a 100-foot rear-mount stick, which was delivered just a couple of days prior to this video being taken. Nice catch, could you try and get 310/174?
If you can on the videos zoom in on the fleet numbers on each unit so we can see the first 2 digits for the year. We can see the fleet numbers on this video 15 for the engine and 24 on the ladder so good job.

I'm confused by the house tones. Is there a radio dispatch of the call, followed by the member on the PA announcing it, or just straight to the member in the room for him/her to announce to rest of house? And do the bells following the PA announcement have a certain meaning?

The "Engine.....Ladder" is automated. The "Class III" announcement is made by the firefighter in the house watch. You can see him making the announcement over the PA system. The bells that ring mean that both the engine and the ladder are responding.
