Full Hotel Tour & Review of Hotel le Concorde in Quebec City, QC

Filmed on April 8th (Room Tour) & 10th (Property Tour) 2022.
Welcome to Beautiful Historic Quebec City everyone! Quebec City is one of the OLDEST Major Cities in North America and In my opinion one of the most stunning cities as well!
This is only of only two hotel tours I got this trip as I stayed at an Airbnb in Montreal and I stayed with friends in Toronto and Upstate NY, but I definitely hope you enjoy this one!
This hotel is where I stayed at during the first 4 days of my long 2.5 week long Canadian Adventure I did earlier this year, and this is also the VERY FIRST Hotel I've EVER Booked and Stayed at ON MY OWN with my own money!
Quebec City has multiple hotels throughout, however, this one of only 4 big true busy "landmark" hotels in the city, with the others being the Le Chateau Frontenac, The Hilton and the Delta by Marriott. And when I was looking for places to stay, I wanted to keep it under $100 a night as obviously being I'm young, I'm not made of money.
And for under $100 a night, my options were to stay either at one of the Budget Hotels near the Aquarium and Place Laurier, which were $70-80 a night, or I could pay a bit more, and stay at this place which was right in the Heart of Town which started at $90 a night. And ultimately, this is where I chose to stay.
While I could've stayed at one of the Suburban Hotels and saved a bit of money, I wanted to be in Walking Distance from the Old City and all of the major neighborhoods and museums, and while I may have saved a bit on my room if I stayed near Place Laurier, that would've been offset by having to pay for Public Transit, so I ultimately decided to go with this place, which is a full service 4 star business style hotel that isn't a major name brand property but costs significantly less than one and when I saw the price as well as the hotel's reviews and amenities, It was a STEAL and you're probably wondering how my stay here was and if it lives up to expectations...
And IMO, this place absolutely lived up to the excellent value it appeared to be online!
This hotel was built in 1974 and is not only the tallest hotel in Quebec City, but the 3rd tallest building as a whole in Quebec City at 28 floors above ground. This Hotel operated as the "Loews Le Concorde" for many years, but went Independent a few years ago. Usually, this is a red flag when it comes to the quality of the hotel and it suggests that the property likely isn't going to be maintained as well, but that DEFINITELY was not the case here!
The rooms were very clean and for the most part spotless, and while you could definitely tell the decor package was a bit older, it's held up well for the most part and honestly fits in well with the vibe of Old Quebec. This hotel also featured several really good restaurants onsite as well as a very nice and decently sized pool and fitness center area.
The BEST PART of this Hotel however is the views you get from each of the rooms as well as the revolving restaurant, they are absolutely INCREDIBLE and STUNNING, and the staff here was also AMAZING!
I had originally booked A Standard Single Queen Room here as that is the most affordable room here, but they upgraded me to a Deluxe King Room which was surprisingly spacious and offered excellent views of the Old City!
The room was absolutely EXCELLENT and Comfortable and Quiet, and the Hotel as a whole had a lot of great amenities onsite making the cost to stay here each night an EXCELLENT Value, especially given how expensive hotels in this class normally are, especially ones that are the tallest in a major city as well as ones that are within the Downtown of a Major City.
No, this hotel isn't quite perfect as there were some scuffs and scratches on some of the furniture as well as mystery stains on the lamp shades, and the Underground Parking Garage definitely could use some repairs as there was a water leak down there and the roads looked rather worn and like they had potholes.
That said though, all of these things are MINOR and this hotel was definitely very clean, very comfortable and quiet in the rooms, had lots of great amenities and very nice as a whole.
IMO, If you're coming to Quebec City and you want to biggest bang for your buck, this IS the place to stay!
Now granted, this hotel doesn't always start at $90 a night and it does get more expensive during the Summer and Middle of Winter, but regardless of when you stay here, it is significantly cheaper than the other major hotels in town. And between having AMAZING staff, a nice pool area, Great restaurants, Available room service, EXCELLENT Views and clean rooms with good soundproofing, what more could you ask for!?!?
This hotel is just one of the best value that I've ever seen in my life, and I HIGHLY suggest staying here if you're visiting Quebec!
I know this won't be my last time!
