    Just wanted to pop in here and say, your routine ideas have really helped us! I’m homeschooling two 2ndish grade girls, a kindergartener and a 4 year old in tow. School has been taking us a solid 4 hours some how, and I had been just pushing us through. Of course the kids had kinda turns for their independent work, so it wasn’t all sitting through at once. Anyway we started your 30 minute break in between morning/family time and math/independent time and it has been awesome! I encourage the kids to go outside and have been taking some time for housework, and resting (or laying face down on my bed hahah) for the rest of the break. My kids come back as different children. It’s been so nice. I’m a long time watcher of your channel :) thanks so much for sharing your life with us!

    Thanks for watching today! This video is a lot longer than usual, but I didn’t feel like I could shorten it anymore than this, to give you a good view of our homeschool day 😊 I hope you enjoy it, and have a GREAT week! ❤

    I do something similar with our whiteboard, but i like the idea of simply erasing their initials! 😊 We enjoy any of your videos... Short or long. And as I've said before, it's nice watching a fellow mama of 5 with kids who are almost the same ages lol

    Oh Julie you look beautiful and what a warrior of Christ. I watched with my dear sister some of your video. She couldn't believe how many wonderful children you have. I was telling her that you are extremely beautifully Blessed, and in my opinion rich in Spirit. I have a crush on you so tell your hubby he is the most Blessed Man in the whole world and I wish you Godspeed in continuing together and strong in Christ.

    Hey Julie, Happy Monday. I don’t mind that your video is longer than normal. I really enjoyed this video and learning what you do in a normal homeschooling day. ❤ I like how you write all of the subjects and then write your kids initials down by it with what subject they have to complete each day and then just simple erase it once they completed the subject for the day. ❤ Wesley does so well in his math for his age, it’s so adorable how much he loves math. ❤ That’s a good thing that you can see how well they do in their math from your email so you can help them if they don’t understand something. ❤ it looks like the two older kids are doing a good job with updating their subjects whether the last three need reminders and that’s okay we are all learning each day. ❤

    All of the kids watch the upper age World Watch? We don’t typically watch news with the kids and I wanted to start doing a little bit of current events, but it seemed a bit much for my kids still (10, 12). Do you just pick which stories to watch?

    That's not ridiculous. In America they show us the Canada price (for whatever reason) and y'all prices are higher

  • @mamatofive1

    @mamatofive1

    7 ай бұрын

    Yes, our currency is different…but when we buy anything from the states, we are paying the Canadian price because our dollar is worth less than a dollar in U.S. currency. So that’s not part of the equation. I say it’s ridiculous because we can often get free shipping here, but shipping costs across the border can be really pricy. 😊
