I don't understand this analogy that India lost but cricket won!! When did cricket lost anyways!! By saying this, all we do is give ourself false pride that we fought but lost. I think the mindset should be that we lost even after coming so close. This thought process will help us understand what went wrong and how to correct it in the future.

ICC is favouring New Zealand a lot! They did not deserve to be in the WTC finals but still they are. Australia had won more matches than NZ in the WTC race. Australia are not cheaters like NZ who create full green pitches to gain home advantage too. NZ made full green pitches vs India ,West Indies and Pakistan in home conditions and won each series 2-0 to reach finals. Australia created pitches which were never unfair and both sides had chances to win .NZ weren't docked any points which actually surprises me!!! If you looked at the pitches NZ were creating then you would understand yourself! Shame on you ICC !!!

WTC final pitch will be created by ICC and I challenge they will again favour NZ . ICC will definitely create a full green pitch because they are favouring NZ a lot. In general if you talk about Southampton in general, then the ball swings a lot in these conditions at the start so the one who wins toss will mostly bowl first. With swing and completely green pitch it is gonna be completely like New Zealand's home game but still India will not give up and will try its best to win.

I guess no-DRS saved IND🇮🇳 from losing the ODIs 0-5.. Jadeja got a reprieve at Auckland and was able to tie that game and NZ🇳🇿 had to be satisfied with 4-0. Anyways you can't blame luck when you've been blanked across the tour by a superior NZ🇳🇿 team.

Look at Wagner's foot at 10:15 & 10:33, most of his wide of the crease balls were No-Balls but Umpires didn't noticed at all. And please don't tell me that there was no DRS available because these wickets falls under the 3rd Umpire.

Exhilarating hitting from Dhoni, Jaddu, Dhawan and Kohli. While people keep criticising India's overseas performances, 2 times in the recent 2 years, India has come close to chasing 300 + totals. One is this match and one is the match vs Australia (under Kohli) where we almost chased 350 odd! I dont think any team in recent years have done that away from their home and against some very good bowlers!

Bichel never did much in tests. McGrath and Warnes absence means 200 tests less experience and about 1200 international wickets absence. Not a convincing argument

@@iAussieVlogger not India's fault McGrath and warne were injured. Lee was always faster than bichel .so bichel always ended up missing a lot of tests. It was the best Australia reserve bowling at the time. If it wasn't dodgy umpiring in 4th test we could have won the series and spoilt Waugh farewell test. Indian team was the only team to beat Australia during their golden period of 2000s both home and away in tests.

Really unlucky for team india.In this game rahane Was LBW in boult's ball but in hotspot there's a touch on the bat of rahane😓

This is the reason i love India and South Africa in overseas conditions. They atleast give a fight to the home teams and win a few test matches too. But when it comes to England and Australia, they are mostly clean swept when playing against India in India, and then they call Indians home track bullies lol!!😂 P.S. I'm not talking about the South African team at present,it is definitely not as good as it used to be under Graeme Smith or AB De Villiers.

Umpiring was definitely below class. Dhawan's dismissal was slightly edgy, clear, thick, edge onto pad for Rahane, and the third umpire could've clearly seen that Wagner bowled a no ball against Dhoni. Apart from that, unnecessary shots got rid of Kohli, Jadeja, and Dhoni. Agreed Kohli's aggression made them go for the win so that can be excused. Jadeja was playing his natural game but he needed to play responsibly, the match would have been very different had he stayed calm. For Dhoni, he only needed to make 50 odd runs, he didn't have to smack his way there. Overall, a brilliant game to watch, especially for an Aussie who just loves aggressive result oriented cricket. New Zealand did deserve this win in the end.

@@shahroopal6194 India have won in england in 2007. True India haven't won series in sa yet . But neither have sa won in India ( except 2000 the series which was fixed by cronje and Azhar ). It's not India fault . Smith and Warner cheated and were found tampering and banned . Australia bowling was full strength and our batsmen played well under pressure . We have beaten smith team in 2017 at home also . NZ humiliated us last time in test series in NZ. Losing to a smaller test team like NZ is unfortunate. It will be revenge for sf loss in wc .it will India biggest challenge because of grassy pitch , cold weather and against high quality swing bowling We just humiliated sa in our home ground. 2 of them by innings and 1 by over 200 runs. Our batsmen scored 200 in every test match .

@@nikhilchauhan184 . Expectations are high . We were constantly harassed when we tour overseas. Our immediate biggest challenge is our batsmen against Kyle Williamson bowling unit. Their small grounds, grassy wet pitches , kokkabura ball , high quality fast swinging conditions against experienced fast bowlers in cold windy winter conditions. Can't get harder than this . Bumrah also making a comeback . Our spinners will struggle . @@nitlover8319 Look at Wagner's foot at 10:15 & 10:33, most of his wide of the crease balls were No-Balls but Umpires didn't noticed at all. And please don't tell me that there was no DRS available because these wickets falls under the 3rd Umpire.

With this kind of start Rishabh Pant would have surely looked to chase this target.

I guess no-Drs saved IND🇮🇳 from losing the ODIs 0-5.. Jadeja got a reprieve at Auckland and was able to tie that game and NZ🇳🇿 had to be satisfied with 4-0.

Wagner was out of his depth against such class batsmen, even on NZ pitches, resorting to his usual SSS - Short Sh*t Style. I cannot remember him ever bowling a genuine fast yorker to remove a quality batsman. Oh, and would somebody please get rid of Mark Richardson (The Sneering Know-all, a.k.a Rigor [Mortis] because his batting was so slow) from the commentary team.
