Not really. Tons of guys have a harder shot. But just aren't there. He has the hardest shot amongst the guys that participated in the all star skills competition this year.

Composite stick is how... With the proper technique and enough leverage from the stick even 9 year olds can probably get it over 90 these days... Wood took real men to send that puck flying! Both the Al's could go way over the 100 mark on wood without a sweat... Try bending that stick back! Those olden days where real men play not B bois...

Buzzy is at his first all star event, enjoying his time with fellow nhl stars. People are so hypocritical. Hate him. Then love him. Then he finally gets the pay he deserves. Hate him again. Next he’ll be saucing up points and everyone will be sucking him off. Especially in playoffs when he’s the only one who has proven to show up. F off with that shiii.

I remember when people used to be hyped about this event. Chara, Weber etc. What a joke this has become. Just have fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy shooting and shootout elimination. Thats it.

Does anyone really care about the skills competition? It's not even on cable, you need ESPN for it, like I'm going to spend more money to watch this crap. All-Star weekend is such a drag, can't wait for Monday when real hockey resumes.

Then the all-star game comes and it's even a bigger joke, just bad boring hockey by players trying to not get injured. The NHL needs to scrap the all-star thing and come up with something new.

It's for marketing and to give every employed nhl person a break half way through the season. Every sport does it. I agree it is boring but it needs to exist aswell lol. It's a corporate event if you will.
