Little announcement. In a few weeks time after my exams, I will begin a series (which is very big to me) regarding the stories and characteristics of each prophet video by video. It’ll all be done through credible sources: Ibn Katheer’s Stories of the Prophets and Tafseer As-Sa’di which will contain Quran and saheeh ahadeeth. Is this something you’d want to see?

first of all. the quran is a healer for thE believrs only, so you have to focus first on your tawheed before you can feel the healing effects of quran. you have to love what allah loves and hate what is shirk and kufr and its people, make shirk and kufr and its people your enemies, and focus and your salah, after this the quran will heal you. sorry for bad spelling

I totally relate to this, and I think what changed it for me is understanding the concept of objective morality in Islam, to engrave in your head that Allah tells us what is haram and not even when it doesn’t make sense to us. After you’ve done that, then you can learn about wisdom behind encouraged acts and leaving discouraged acts… Then, make dua for Allah to show you truth from falsehood and falsehood from truth and that is one of the dua’s which Umar ibn Al-Khattab would make. The most frequent dua the prophet would make is : “يا مقلب القلوب ثبت قلبي على دينك" and the duas of the prophet are definitely the best of duas. Lastly surround yourself with good people and I wish you the best 🫡 👑

Brother look into your life and check where you are sinning, (any addiction type something, gossip/idle talk, rude behaviour with others, not lowering the gaze) . Leave that sin and your heart will be able to connect with the Qur'an Inshallah

This one I bought from an Islamic section in an annual book fair, but you can get books like these in general from anywhere including online as long as it’s published from a good place like Darussalam or Dar ibn Al-Jawzi for example.

Websites like Darussalam and Deensquare deliver worldwide im pretty sure, in terms of in person stores well I have no idea.

I was referring specifically to reciting verses regarding to Allah’s punishment, description of the day of judgement, and description of the hellfire. You can notice reciters can often deepen their voice or they can even raise the volume of their voice to emphasize such things, or they can even repeat the verses multiple times.
