Full Flight: LOT Polish Airlines B737-800 Warsaw to Amsterdam (WAW-AMS)
Hey guys! Here's my first flight heading back to the U.S. aboard a LOT Polish Airlines B737-800 from Warsaw, Poland to Amsterdam, Netherlands. After a very nice stay in Poland (wish I could've stayed longer!), it was time to head back to life back in the US. I hadn't flown LOT Polish Airlines since I was very young so I was interested to see what had become of Poland's flag carrier (I do have some LOT flights on my channel, but those were filmed by my mom.) And LOT didn't disappoint! I found the crew and pilots to be very professional and the service to be what I'd expect from an airline like LOT. Overall, I would absolutely recommend flying this airline if you're headed to Poland, or if you simply want to connect in Warsaw - which by the way should get a lot easier by 2027. But the current Chopin Airport is a great airport to fly in/out of...very easy and efficient. Amsterdam Schiphol is extremely large and you'll definitely need to use your legs while at this airport, but in terms of amenities, there's plenty at AMS (however construction was going on in many places). Really liked this flight! Hope you enjoy!

Unfortunately at the moment, LOT Polish Airlines has suspended their entire fleet during this pandemic. Hopefully things can get back to normal soon because they're an awesome airline and I really feel for their employees. Also, I've just released a statement on my Community Page regarding this channel and COVID-19. Stay safe & healthy everyone!

Same to you. This virus from hell has even affected domestic travel in the United States and Canada , places where I travel to mostly because of my sports and travel blog.
Thank you for the daytime flight video.👍🏻👍🏻

Another great video Jazzguy! Nice to see you pass through my home airport, you actually flew over the town that I live in at the moment: Amstelveen. Anyway, service looks perfectly fine for this short flight, love the views outside as well 😀 Regards, Brendan

Hey thanks mate and pretty cool! Love Schiphol Airport! Will have some KLM flights on the channel soon ;)
I'm so jealous! I wanted to get on SP-LWF for my flight back to Heathrow on the 1st of January 2020, but they gave SP-LWA (the first 737-800 given to LOT, 15 y/o and no sky interior) instead. Wasn't a bad flight, But I wanted the sky interior haha. Great trip report, I've been waiting for one on this particular aircraft.
Wow l did no LOT fly to Warsaw thank you for makeing the video.
26:48 You should fly on Delta's A220 because,9nce I fllied on there A220 and had IFE screens and fantastic flight that I had!

maybe on you UA flt you can have a favorite pax sitting next to you and doesnt stop doing what your favorite pax does
Most of Those 737 were leased because of grounded 737 max
You can print bagtag at kiosks for LO flights - I don't know why it didn't allow You to do it. Perhaps you didn't answer NO to all 3 questions. Also "luggage drop off" check-ins were on opposite side and You went to full normal check-in but it doesn't really matter. Hope You enjoyed our self-check-in kiosks :)
While I am watching this video, I received a news alert the State Department told all Americans abroad to fly home. Coronavirus is shutting the world down. I imagine all you trip reporters are going to be sidelined for a period of time with no flights to take. Good video as always!

Although an avgeek myself, wondering why you didn't choose to fly LOT nonstop to Chicago. That E-190 from Venice,if it indeed just landed, why was it being towed to the gate? I'm guessing you have some degree of Polish ancestry, your use of on-screen Polish and translating that candy bar wrapper along with the currency conversion from the zloty to USD. Does Poland use the euro? What alliance do you favor? Here it seems to be the Star Alliance--LOT and UA being members--Air Baltic seems to have a mini-hub at AMS,what with 4 aircraft parked. Just now read your Community page Covid-related drama--I'm tempted to fly a short-haul flight, say HOU-MSY, just to see what the load factor is like in this new era we are all experiencing--seems like it would be a great time to fly, seat selection is wide open, perhaps US airlines will drop fares to induce folks to fly--we all know they are burning LOTS of cash, have bills to pay just as we do. I'm expecting another 'shoe to drop' in way of a mandate to discourage flying unless ABSOLUTELY necessary--I"m not afraid of picking up the virus, thank god the US hasn't gone the way of Spain and Italy with total lockdown which would devastate the economy
you didnt want to get a 787-9 or 10 to ORD on KLM
