Full Flight | American Eagle AA6229 | Embraer E175LR | Los Angeles (LAX) to Tucson (TUS) | N506SY

If you're an aviation enthusiast flying out of LAX via the Eagle's Nest, you're likely one of the few passengers on the shuttle bus eagerly anticipating the ride from one terminal to another. As you drive alongside the taxiway next to runway 25R, there's plenty to see.
Our departure from LAX was typical. After takeoff, we ascended through a layer of fog or clouds and then typically banked left or right to head east. On this occasion, we banked left, passing over Long Beach en route to Temecula. Following Interstate 8, we continued until reaching Gila Bend, where we cleared the airspace near the Barry Goldwater bombing range and began our descent into Tucson.
The approach was turbulent, and it seemed like we barely flared upon landing, reminiscent of a Ryanair flight. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable flight with a bit of added excitement.
