After 13 and a half years, the magical and heart-tugging fireworks nighttime spectacular, 'Wishes', ended its run today, May 11, 2017, at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. I was fortunate enough to be able to see it off in its final performance, which is this video. I am uploading this as a sort of tribute to Wishes, as it had really grown on me in such a short period of time. Every time I hear that heart-tugging score along with its fireworks I always come close to tears.

Farewell, Wishes. I will always love you and will never forget you. Here's to hoping that Happily Ever After will fill the enormous shoes you left behind.
