Note that Buakaw get his leg muscle injured couple days before the match, so he didn't use much kick at all throughout the match. He said he can not stay balanced that well on his leg in the post-interview.

Kido’s advantage is long range but that got neutralized by Buakaw going in with short range punches. He adjusted with heel kick to Buakaw’ calves even when referee is trying to separate them. Him claiming Buakaw intentionally head butt him is bullshit though, his punch graced Buakaw’s head and consequently caused the head on butt. He’s lucky he bled out and avoided the loss.

Kido definitely leaned right into that one lol quite possibly accidental but a real shame as Buakaw looked the stronger opponent. I wonder if Buakaw has hip problems now as he barely uses his infamous roundhouse kick. He used to kick people so hard their ribs would be bright red. I'm very surprised by his general condition and speed I can't believe he's still fighting it's very impressive, what a warrior.

@@buakawfan333 His hip is fine albeit not as good as in his prime, it was problem with his leg that he got his leg muscle injured couple days before the match and was not fully healed.

Everyone shits on the Japanese kid, and yeah he lost, like no shit he wasn't even in Buakaw's level at all. But he did try, and that counts for something. Hell even being able to say, i faced Buakaw in a the ring, even though i lost. That counts for something quite big. Sometimes its not about wining. Its about never giving up in the first place until you are forced to do so. TKD, and getting kicked in the head often taught me similar things.

No Buakaw knee did the damage as you can see on slow motion. From headbutt no only when Buakaw knee landed on the Japanese guy head than the guy face expression changed and blood started to come

@@Argooh No this is discrimination against women actually. I even hear some commentators say things like “both girls are good” like wtf? Do they talk about boys when it’s men fighting? Like if buakaw is fighting I never heard them say “both boys are good” and this is horrible behavior. The women are training very very hard and some are really good, so this is not nice to say. It’s like if you were saying that women should not be police officers for example. I see many women in Muay Thai who working their ass of when it comes to training and fighting so it’s not fair.

This game was even because of the head bang. Kido did great to the legend. If you watch the slow carefully Buakaw is the one to bang his head from low to Kido. That is why Kido’s head got breeding. But it was not intended by Buakaw of course. So, it was just happened like that.

Thai fighters are very power full because the way they throw their punches and kicks they put their entire weight with it. And it’s very natural for them to put their heads down because of their punching and kicking style with their whole body weight in it it’s very open for a counter attack to their head that’s why they put their heads down every time they strikes. This isn’t intentional this is just a very unfortunate accident.

untrue depending on the rule set used. Many organizations rules frown upon/give lower score for backing up or backing up if not ahead in a fight. that's why many people are saying Kido lost. in most big orgs this would be an L.
