Have you got caught up on watching Gaethe's UFC fights? He lands very well timed shots now, and actually has some of the best knockouts in 155 pound history, probably more in a row than anyone else now. He's put away 4 people in a row, while taking almost no damage.

@@OSTemli it's not breathing from the mouth that ruins cardio, it's due to inhaling too much oxygen and overwhelming your cardiovascular system. If you can't breath with your nose you have to pace your breaths with your mouth, it got me through 4 years of cross country 😂

Haven't read his bio in a long time, but when he went for eye tests he would cover one eye (Let's just say it was the right one) with his right hand and read the chart and when the doctors asked him to switch he'd cover his right eye with his left hand, because his vision was so bad in one eye it was just a blurred line

I was just thinking the same that guy has a chin and a set of lungs that wont quit. And he just puts the head down and waits to get hit . He times his counters between punches without looking up. He is also a great guy outside of the octagon. One of My favorite fighters Diaz boys are high on my list too .

First time watching this fight and I just became a Firmino fan. He took some heavy punches and kicks and didn't even flinch. He did very good in that second round when he started throwing combinations of 3 plus punches.

Man!!! So many gun shots in this fight !!!!! Amazing fight!!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 To both Fighters!!!

It's amazing to see the changes Gaethje has implemented since this fight. The kid that came out against Tony was everything we needed 2016 Gaethje to evolve into. I think we're gonna be in for some great future bouts.

After the end of round 1 I got suprised like I thought I'd seen an entire fight

That was a great fight! I feel bad for Luis, good to see sportsmanship from the winner and I hope they have a rematch.

These guys are are up there as the two toughest SOB’s I have ever seen. Just an amazing match.

@@The_Primary_Axiom absolutely. ferguson has about the biggest gas tank i have ever seen a fighter have in any combat. he can go for days. gaethje ain't easy at all tho, guy is a violent mofo and has the power/leg kicks to hurt and even finish tony

awesome to watch but man this is a prefect example of how not to defend in mma! both guys could hit each other in the dark!

He fought in Pride Bushido back in the day. Had some awesome scraps, especially the one against Azeredo. The BTT vs Chute Boxe feud days resulted in some amazing fights.

So Gaethje loses his mouth piece twice, quickly grabs it and puts it back in his mouth and the judge says " if you lose it again I'll take a point." Why? He didn't interrupt the timing of the fight.

The ref wants them to be safe, also. He's actually helping Gaethje with some tough love. Notice he also told him to close his mouth. It may have saved him from a broken jaw or some lost teeth.

I fell down the Gaethje rabbit hole last month sometime and am still finding a few fights of his I missed but I think I just found another one of those holes to go down with his opponent in this fight. Bad ass little Firmino 🌮.
