Look at each fighter's face, and you can see who won. I thought Lara ruled rounds 2 and 3. Her opponent seemed to be tired and didn't do much after the first round.

I have always wondered why more fighters don't use just a regular front thrust kick down the center line. It was open all day long for lara, just a quick snap kick and don't leave it hanging out too long. The kick is quick, and you aim for those center shots, plus you can keep your hands up for those boxing counters as well. I always thought the kick was more powerful, and quicker than those roundhouse type kicks, just an observation, both those women could beat most guys regardless.

I'm confused about the split. Blue clearly won round 1, her boxing was much more effective than those patter leg kicks and blue also stuffed red's attempt at wrestling. Round 2 red was trying some capoeira and crescent kicks without success, but she started to wake up a little towards the end of the round but it was too little too late. in Round 3, red landed with more power than previous, and also combinations and knees. The only way I can see a split is if one of the judges gave round 2 to red, which I can't see....her good moments towards the end of the round weren't impactful enough to steal the round away from blue

Lara definitely did more damage in round two, she was just less technically "correct".
