I got married on may 10th 2019. This was the song that I chose to be our first dance. My wife was the person who introduced me to Fairy Tail and I couldn't have picked a more magical song to make this day one I will never forget. We had about 70 people at our wedding and my wife and I were the only ones who knew the meaning of it. Regardless of not a single person knowing Japanese language, It was still the most amazing song I could have picked for such a special and memorable day. Here's to all the Fairy tail fans in the world!. Live life to the fullest, be happy and take care of those you love and always be there for them no matter what! Update: (December 12th 2020). I never expected my post to have any replies, let alone 80 with over 2k thumbs up. I would like to provide all of you with an update on our life. Our marriage is going great and my wife and I are going to be having our first child in February . We are having a girl and have decided to name her Mavis! Update: (January 21 2022). I can't believe I am still getting responses after posting back in 2019, thank you so much to everyone who has left a touching/warm hearted message. I really appreciate you all taking the time and I hope you have all been safe/well over the years. My family and I are doing great. My little Mavis will be a year old next month!. It's amazing how fast time flies! My wife and I aren't sure if we plan on having more kids in the future, but if we do. We have decided that if its a girl, we will name her "Wendy" and if it's a boy we will name him "Laxus". Well everyone that's it for now. This community here is the most loving/caring group of people out there and you should all be super proud! Please take care of each other during this crazy pandemic and never give up no matter how hard things get! Update: (June 23 2024) We just had our second child last night. It was another girl who we decided to name Wendy :). I can't wait for my girls to grow up so I can show them where they got their names!

Fairy Tail was really special to me, even though people said it relied on the “power of friendship” too much, each character went through a ton and it quickly made fairy tail one of my favorite animes. It’s a shame it’s popularity has fallen since, perhaps it doesn’t really fit the nowadays type of anime vibe. People are missing out not watching ft!

I love Gray so much. The visuals in this song are amazing and show all his problems, he’s such a deep character. His events with Ur and Lyon and his competitiveness. Abandoning everyone like Lucy and Natsu popping up in between to know what’s wrong but nobody but Gray actually knows his backstory and the weight of his problems, except maybe Lyon. It’s so deep, as he walks down that path alone, so philosophical. Officially my fave character. Love You Fullbuster!

Wait, you're right. Gray's tragic backstory, including with his own Father, is kept to himself and is never shared with the other characters, except for Makarov, but that was probably more out of obligatory introduction. I never noticed this before. Man, I wish Lyon got better over all screen time now since no one else, except Ur can share this pain he lives with.

Omg I cried my heart out at the part where he hugged his dad and said good bye to him :( Boy, he went through so much. Im glad juvia was there for him.

Loluronthefloor Here's what I know: "Daisuki" can be translated to "I like you", and is often used in situation involving puppy love and crushes (hence it's common usage). "Aishiteru" is on a whole different level. It truly means "I love you". It's only used when you truly love a person deeply and you truly mean it. It means real, committed and everlasting love. The word itself is no joke. I think it's nice how Japan revers the word "Aishiteru". You rarely hear it on every day conversations and songs. 😄

The whole point he's trying to get at is your family, whether related by bonds or blood, is the most important thing in your life and anything can be overcome with them at your side. Because of this, and also not letting depressing moments last too long throughout the series, he doesn't want it to be viewed as a tragedy and is keeping it in a positive light. At least that's what I think.

This is an amazing ending, but anyone else feels like it should have been for ending 2 instead? Probably would have fit more with the Galuna Island arc. While ending 2 would have been good for the Edolas arc

This ending makes me cry, the song is full of wonderful meaning, catchy and beautiful and especially it's based on my favorite character of fairy tail... gray🛐🖤🤍

This ending of fairy tail is really peaceful..I feel stress free whenever I listen to it😊😊

Gray is such a deep character and this fits him perfectly, I love fairy tail with my whole heart best anime ever and it's my childhood

Every time i was sad i would put in my ear buds and listen to this and i would feel better and this song just helps by far my favorite ending in fairy tail of what ive seen

This ending really gets you thinking about grays losses, first his parents, then his adopted mother, he just can't get a win, perhaps that's why he struggles to get attached to juvia, he's tired of being abandoned.

Although the song seems romantic or fun but the actual video of it is extremely sad. It shows the backstory of Gray which is really saddening, Almost made me cry.

2019 fairy tail Zero is now out there but still this is the best ending song for fairy tail
