@@HomeostaticOwl it the skin is already separated it's fine, but you never know since the shedding does not always happen all at once... The leg shed may be ready to come off while the belly is no where near ready! That's why it's so important to be careful. Plus, shedding assistance is supposed to happen on a case by case basis. I have had to help out berdie in the past when he was tiny and was struggling to get the shed off his eye, where it was poking him. I still soaked him, calmed him and then slowly and carefully only removed what he was struggling with. Most of the time, soaking your reptiles will take care of shedding issues. Mind you, that you should ONLY help if your beardie can't remove it. Be slow and gentle. NO SCISSORS (yes some said they use that to help), only recommend tweezers if needed. If it's dry and lifting you shouldn't need anything to remove it. Any shed that is smaller and left on your dragon, give your dragon a bath and use a soft toothbrush in those areas. Always dry your beardie off and put them back in the enclosure. Wet stuck shed is painful to get off. It should be completely dry and lifting.

I love how my leopard gecko would come to me on glass when it was time to shed. He would be perfectly still for me to finish the head, then start eating the skin until front legs wait for me to peel the leg, continue, wait for me for back legs, do the tail and then wait because there was always a spot near cloaca that would remain. After that he would just slowly move to his hide. Him showing me this level of trust, if I spot he is in shed I would not leave the house in the evenings until he id done. RIP my smart little boy, I miss you.

I saw 2 family's at petsmart last time I was there doing exactly this knowing nothing about the animal

I would love to peel a dragon!! So satisfying!! I do love to peel thing!!! Lol
They rub on anything to get it all off so this owner getting it off for the lizard looks like it’s greatly appreciated and this way ,as long as it’s ready to come off it will make them feel so much better
It not stuck shed he still half way through do ur research
Ficou livre ,limdinho 😂❤
I love how my leopard gecko would come to me on glass when it was time to shed. He would be perfectly still for me to finish the head, then start eating the skin until front legs wait for me to peel the leg, continue, wait for me for back legs, do the tail and then wait because there was always a spot near cloaca that would remain. After that he would just slowly move to his hide. Him showing me this level of trust, if I spot he is in shed I would not leave the house in the evenings until he id done. RIP my smart little boy, I miss you.
I have been blessed with this lizard unboxing video
Awe he’s beautiful 😍
Oh lordy this is too satisfying... love your content!! 💕💕💕
Good little lizard man
wow pulling its skin feels satisfying
My understanding with the Beardies is you should litter them shed naturally as it can hurt them with growing or shedding!???
I do this to ALL 18 of my reptiles! Not just beardies but the tegus, chameleon, savannahs and iguanas! I just think it helps them feel better and it's healthier to get it off sooner !

If you do that get rid of those animals cause you clearly dont know how to deal with them shedding getting it off earlier than it is needed to be will hurt them
He’s like yeah the feels so good❤️
"Please excuse me, I gotta peel my bearded dragon."
Looks just like my girl. My beardies have taught me much throughout the years; and if they don’t like something , they let u know
He feels so good, I bet😊

It’s almost like you know absolutely nothing about bearded dragon care…..
Y'all lizard police need to chill. If he was hurting the dragon in any way, I'm sure it would let him know it with a munch lol

That’s just not how it works. Not every lizard is aggressive when feeling pain
Is it me or do I find it cute when they close their eyes lol mines does the same
Man it is so cool watching these videos. I love peeling off the shed from my ball python and I know she feels relief.
Dude is like yeah baby take that off. we don’t need that. Keep pulling a little harder. I think there’s some more in there. Im sure there was instant relief upon feeling that come off.. beautiful color
Hope you soak that dragon before you do that. It can be painful and it didn't look like it was ready in the area that immediately turned red.
That shed is crispy
Best full head shed on KZread ❕❗️
I wish this was me it looks like it would feel so nice
That must have been so relieving.
Why is that so oddly satisfying to watch lol
okay I'm totally naive to all this stuff but if you peel to soon or make It come off before it's shedding on its own does it feel like when we peel our skin and hit good skin and it rips a little and it hurts like hell?
Dear God, that's the most satisfying thing I've seen all day.
just a friendly reminder to people getting dragons for there kids because of GOT and HOD keep in mind yes they are good pets for beginners with reptiles they are alot of work you need to do your research before buying them don't get one from petsmart they live about 15 to 20 years what you see at petsmart are babies they grow fast you need atleast a 50 galon tank when they reach machurity there diet completely changes also DONT GET A PET YOUR GOING TO END UP GIVING AWAY! I saw 2 family's at petsmart last time I was there doing exactly this knowing nothing about the animal

forgot to say females lay eggs and frequently if your not breeding and she lays a clutch they can get stuck in her and your going to have a very expensive vet bill keep that in mind it you do get one get one from a local breeder or find one to adopt they are everywhere people giving them away all the time
He acts like my cat when she gets skritches... Are you sure you didn't just buy a *really* weird cat? He's adorable tho, precious lad
Optimus Prime : - GIVE ME YOUR FACE !
Two questions: 1. Can lizards bred to be pets still shed on their own or is it like breeding sheep who have to be shorn to survive? 2. If a beardie decided to chomp you, how bad a bite could they deliver? Never really been sure what their teeth are actually like.
If your Dragon is bathed on a regular basis it would never get that bad ours don't.
Ain't that a cute little guy
This looks like he is just saying "thanks pops, shoulda done this a couple days ago." But looks good! Like he enjoys it
Beautiful!
Mahluk apapun kalo dirawat dari bayi.. Tetap menganggap kita sebagai induknya..
The sad thing is abt those animals is that every time i see them i have too think back abt the time i had too give away mine (same kind of animal dont know the English name) because i coulnd't give him a happy life. Now he is happy and so am i for him. It still breaks my heart though💔💔
I love those things!!
That must feel so good to come off
I bet the neck section was sooo satisfying
Thatcha Keeper 😂
That must be a huge relief
That was amazing.
Parece que está desembrulhando um presente !!!❤❤❤❤❤

When the shed gets to the crispy as a potato chip stage, it’s ok. When it’s still moist and well adhered then leave it alone.
