I love 3CE's eye shadow palettes and lip tints! I haven't tried many different products though, so I'm not too knowledgeable in k-beauty lol

I've been loving hince's products ever since I got them. Especially the single shadows and matte lipsticks. The whole brand's aesthetic is gorgeous.

I really do believe k beauty (especially skincare wise) has caused western brands to step up their game years ago. And a lot of trends now in the west seemed to be behind k and other Asian beauty trends. Like the no make up look or my skin but better have always been like an Asian concept for awhile now. I just hope now that it’s more popular in the west, k beauty brands expand their complexion ranges Because I can never use those amazing products sadly. I’ve even seen other Asians struggle to find even their shade.

I feel like your makeup philosophy reflects k beauty philosophy very well. You pay attention to details and are very careful with choosing the right colors . I also love how artistic and unconventional you are with mixing product and textures. You're my favorite beauty KZreadr. An endless sea of inspiration!

While Korean makeup has all the benefits that you mentioned. We cannot ignore the fact that it only mostly caters to fair skin tones and encourages you to go lighter. There are not many options and colors are mostly suitable for fair light skin tones, with neutral toned shades fitting for their complexion instead of getting washed out by looking greyish at best on their skin/eyes.

I agree with this, but other than that, I still think they have super amazing products. Korean eyeshadow and liptints are amazing and highly pigmented even though they still give subtler look than western makeup products (i have medium tan skin with dark circles extending to my eyelids and pretty pale lips, so it says a lot that i can still put on korean eyeshadow and liptints) i can't stress it enough. I think it's still worth for girls who aren't fair-skinned to try them! However, their base complexion products (cc creams/bb creams, foundation, and concealer) are indeed sooo poor in their shade range, except fora very few of the really international brands like Etude and Innisfree. Most products have like a maximum of three shades, that's why I hardly ever buy Korean foundation/concealer. I only have one from Face Shop and I chose the darkest shade available. I have medium tan skin and it's on the lighter side of brown - I am ALMOST ALWAYS the darkest shade, and sometimes I can't even fit in any of the shade range at all. t's always good to call them out on this part. If they use the "Korean" market as an excuse, they should at least try to expand the shade range overseas (although I feel bad for tan Korean girls (and boys) who want to wear Korean makeup :/), many Korean brands sell in my country, in which many people are tanned and brown, but many of them still offer very poor shade range.

@@Riri-qi2fu i'm sorry to hear that you struggle with that! :( i hope that change will come soon in SK so korean makeup can cater to darker-skinned people ;-; it's also ridiculous that they sell in SEA countries where there are so many tan people and they don't even think about expanding the range! Korean makeup is so great, the only downside is that many of their base complexion products have really poor shade range.

@@maysilversi8253 lame excuse, the make up brand is not mainly targeted towards Koreans anymore. Korean beauty products ship internationally and caught interest all around the world. They need to do better.

K beauty is life changing! Seriously! I switched a few years ago and I’ll never go back and I love how most makeup products also have skin care ingredients. I like the more muted, neutral, softer looks I can find in k-beauty. The skin care has helped me maintain my beauty. I am 38 but I still look as if I’m in my late 20’s.

stand with everything u said. especially for me Korean makeup is easier to control because it’s enough pigment in every product. and also K-makeup always focuses on a healthy skin look, which makes it even more interesting.

Now I know why my eyeliner looks so disconnected from my whole eye look :) I'm 24 but only started wearing makeup until 1 or 2 years ago so all of your videos have helped me so much. I tried branching out of my comfort lip colors and got the same liptint as Haley but in another shade, it was waaaay to bright for me. But I combined it with some base I had like Haley said and it became the prettiest natural blush shade

The Rom&nd Han All Fix Mascara Long Black is also really gooood😭 I mean I have short lashes and that stuff really surprised me with its quality. Oh, I have their eye palette in Rosebud and the colours are too dang pretty❤️

I used the volumizing one but I really swear by Romand Han All Fix Mascara's formula. It's the most sweatproof, waterproof, and tearproof mascara I have ever had. I used to skip mascara a lot but after buying Romand's mascara I'm into mascaras now!

Yes, I love the care and attention Korean makeup brands put into their products. What do you think about Be Ready brand makeup “for heroes”? It’s designed for men but I’ve seen a lot of good reviews from girls too, and what caught my attention is that their cushions have darker shades. 😎

I love this video! I feel like makeup popular in the USA is catered towards brunette features, dark hair, dark eyelashes, perfectly tanned skin etc. As a natural pale blonde with extremely light skin I have always struggled to find foundation light enough for my skin tone & mascara light enough for my eyes. My natural eyelashes are blonde & the dark brown/black is too dark for me. I've never seen any products like this before that you showed in your video. I just found a k-beauty store in my city & I can't wait to find makeup that will work for my skin tone!
