This is how I see it: She is using him as a meal-ticket for now, and keeping her options open. She also thinks her rap career is going to take off. Which maybe it will, but I would take the bet on it not. She is more of a partier and he is more of a homebody or introvert, but he has a decent job, especially for a black man(Probation Officer). My guess is eventually she will cheat or he will leave, or both, and then she will regret messing up a good thing. He doesn't know why she won't marry him but I do; She won't marry him because she wants someone who is better, in her mind. And she wants to make it big with her career, or get with a baller who likes to party and spoil her. He has been supporting her for the duration of their relationship, and I don't sense any gratefulness in her or appreciation. Her best bet would be to marry him soon, because if she doesn't, then in about 5 years she will be single with three kids, and that success target will get smaller and smaller. Women like this do not realize that it is not COMMON for a black man to chase you to marry him. This is the mistake many women make.

She doesn't seem bright enough to be an educator. Idk about where they live but in my state you need a Master's in Education to be employed as a full time teacher. And there's a waiting list to get in because teachers aren't retiring at a rate to make room for new grads.
