I love this vintage episodes.. the fact that these are full episodes for the first time on KZread is like watching the show for the first time like a regular tv viewer and I love that the original panel is here.

I agree, the original panel was actually amazing..and I would’ve killed to see Garcelle with the original panel. Tamar was actually very necessary for the show and kept it interesting, I didn’t realize it until now

Tamera handled this whole situation so well, the way they were talking to her I would have been PISSED

I agree. it all came off very rude , when she was just trying to make a point. her viewpoint matters too and to me it did not come off like she was judging anyone , she was just trying to share her experience.

I wanna see Adrienne do a vid for her KZread channel where the hosts get together and watch/react to this episode - I feel like they’d crack tf up at how corny/awkward it is, the fits, etc 🤣❤️

I’m so glad full episodes are being posted! I forgot how much during season 1 Tamera would be “joked” on too much or talked over and not heard. Those moments were uncomfortable.

Loni’s insecurities were coming out this episode. Tamera was not judging and only sharing her opinion. Not cool how they were putting words into her mouth like she is condemning women who want to sleep around. 🤦🏾‍♀️

I didn’t think Tamera was being condescending at all. I think Loni was just putting words in Tamera’s mouth and projecting onto her. I forgot how much they teased Tamera in the earlier episodes… whew girl I would’ve snapped lol.

As a viewer, as much as I find Tamar’s lil quips of “LIES!!” to be funny, that’d throw me off so much if I were speaking and she jumped in with that. Like, is she calling ME a liar?, is the story a lie?, like what’s the context for that. Watching these back you can see a few moments where each of the girls would stumble over their words immediately following. It’s jarring all these years later.

Lol this reminds me of something one of my student’s grandfather (RIP) used to say: ain’t nothing in these clubs but n***** and guns. That was his way of trying to get his grandson to stay home. I thought that was so funny. I grew up in the hood and when I came home from College to visit I’d refuse to go out to these clubs. Always shooting and club goers running for their lives. My sis, as a result, had “booty calls” with the same guy. The shooting would start and she’d not have time to meet anyone else.

It truly was and it never went away. I had actually thought after they won an Emmy that it would be remixed or changed. Something a little more pleasing and fun.
