I also noticed that (and I agree with both of them). Lonnie (and the majority of the audience) is so stuck with upholding the majestic platform on which MJ stands in music / performance history. No one disagrees with how iconic that man is… but (arguably) Bruno is the only current (popular) artists today who resembles MJ’s vibe / aura. People need to get out of their narrow-minded perspective and actually listen to his music CLOSELY

Loni be saying a lot without saying anything, girl Jeannie was not saying Bruno is better than MJ she is saying he’s on his way to be as iconic. He is one of the best performers and entertainers of this generation one hundred percent ! He can sing, his music has evolved since the beginning, he can dance and he is an amazing entertainer. Ps, that comment about other artists having as much talent and not having the same platform as Bruno is so irrelevant. The same can be said about any other artist in the world. Moot point. Loni just hates being wrong & it’s irritating.

disagree lol Bruno is a great performer but he’s never had an iconic music video, never had an iconic fashion moment like the Thriller jacket or the glove, he can’t compete he’s an amazing performer, but he’s not an ICON

Is nobody going to state the obvious? While Bruno is an incredible entertainer, he borrows A LOT from Black culture, music, and what’s already been done like people like MJ. His whole style and theme is 70s and retro. So I totally felt what Loni was saying. He’s great but not MJ great. Plus MJ had grown men crying in concert. His level of fame was different

The fact that guys can’t appreciate the femininity in a woman’s appearance without being deemed “gay” is sad. as much as i love jeannie, i have to disagree with her. bruno mars is great but he's not touching michael jackson... there is nothing narrow-minded about this either. the only person that can be as iconic as mj is beyonce. the way those two command the stage and the audience is unmatched. bruno may be popular but that is not the same as "iconic," he may be as well known but not as iconic.
