I just loved seeing the owners reaction when you were talking about all the little details that you'd noticed. His face just lit up because you understood what he'd been trying to achieve with the build. Listening to him talk, you didn't need to know Japanese to know how much passion he has for what he does and what he has achieved. Such an awesome build, and I'm so glad you could share it with those of us who would never get to see it in person. Thank you.

@@famus801 pretty sure bruh is talking about the lightening fast clutch work/lifting off the loud pedal for the shift as Sakamoto-san hasn't yet programmed the ECU to handle WOT shifting so in a sense you'd still have to drive it like an H-pattern but without having to find the right gate for the right gear.

Probably my favorite GTR build of all. 32, 33, 34...this thing is just levels above every other GTR.

This is the most beautiful version of this car that I have ever seen. The workmanship of the body is mind boggling. I would rather have this over any super car available. Awesome.☘️

The greatest part of the video was watching him drive. You can see the joy and passion. Absolutely amazing.

9 out of 10 cannot phathom the painstaking work involved in this build. All of that effort was lost by not documenting the process. This build is absolutely mental.

Was so lucky to see this at WEKFEST SJ last year. The photos will never do it justice as to the amount of detail this build has. 👌 Absolutely spot on build!

The amount of perfectionism that so many Japanese puts into their arts and crafts is just mind boggling. This is an absolutely incredible build by a passionate perfectionist and Larry's enthusiasm in the interview and experience sharing is just spot on. Subscribed!!!

The sequential is not program into the ecu yet, he is clearly still using the clutch

You gotta be good to be Lucky !?! Well I’m calling you Lucky Larry from here on in ! This beautiful GTR 32R is above anyone’s idea of what to do next ! Full Dry Carbon, WTF 😳 I gotta say it’s my own personal taste but I’d would have loved carbon rims and carbon ceramic disc’s on it 🤯 This artisan is a pure genius, I can’t give enough praise to his work. And he is going to drag race it, YES !! This guy is my hero !

The car is perfect. The way it sits, the finish, everything. Really love it. Mr. Sakamoto made an unbelievable car.

Absolutely love the balance of everything. Black wheels make the carbon pop. Simple clean engine bay does the same thing, makes the exterior pop. What a stunning car!

Incredible build, and the details show with that eargasam engine note! Love old Japanese builders. Not only were they there for the original 'good ol days' and still preserve it for the rest of us, but they continue to display that well-accumulated skill to show us how it's done!

The weave staying the same direction, the panel gaps being even the whole way...everything!

Glad to see garage active getting the attention they deserve. Had a good time meeting him and seeing both shops in Fukuoka 2 years ago.

I always said, when the Japanese really get into something, they really, REALLY, get into something. Stunning build, doesn't leave me with many words.

He's like a Jedi Master i feel like i need to bow in his presence, this is theeeeeee most respectable build to me a $200k fully carbon Nissan Skyline R32 GTR !!!! all hail to the master.

Also, the difference between dry carbon and wet carbon is merely the amount of resin used. Wet carbon fiber usually includes a ton of extra resin that is not actually necessary for strength, it’s just a shortcoming of the process. Dry carbon fiber is a system designed to minimize the amount of extra resin that gets included in the final piece. Putting 9 coats of clear coat on dry carbon makes it just about as heavy as a panel of wet carbon.

Every layer of clear coat is sanded then clear again,final thickness is like maybe 3-4 layer.

A high quality "wet" carbon process can be just as light as an average quality "dry" carbon. I put these in quotes because absolutely no one in the serious composites industry uses these terms. It sounds like this isn't even autoclaved, so its VBO and nearly identical weight to vacuum infusion.

I'm a car enthusiast in general, but JDM cars aren't usually that high on my list. Watching Larry though just makes me appreciate these cars so much more👍👍

This is one of the nicest R32 I've ever seen. I need a 6ft long picture of this! :)

I don't want this to sound like I'm playing off of stereotypes. But I feel this is applicable: I absolutely love Japanese master car builders/fabricators because they strive to achieve the same perfection and detail that Samurai sword makers have been so revered throughout history for. I love it and there's just so much to look at and never-ending little details you can get lost in for hours and hours. Not to mention that, often times, the style is crazy beautiful while still somewhat subdued in order to retain the elegance of the already attractive body lines.

Haha the wheels being offset isn't just a R32 problem, it's also on the S13s and other Nissan chassis. I'm happy they still brought that up though.

Interested when the first person will make something like Guntherwerks and Singer does with Porsche's and start introducing that into the JDM cars. A full carbon tubbed R32 would be amazing or going into more of the custom interior work Singer does. Attention to detail is amazing on this build, definitely getting close to what Pagani does with their carbon work. Hats and helmets off to this man, making something so detailed and gorgeous.

I am 41 and have been around cars and my career was customizing cars trucks everything..from here to Vegas, and I'm friggen speachless!!!!!! WOW

This guy is a living legend! You can tell he loves to drive the car too.

When I think of Japanese master craftmen there are a few qualities I tend to notice. They pour countless hours going over every detail. They use strong materials and their designs are heavily influenced by functionality. The result has a timeless feel to it. Like it was made to be used and last forever. Sakamoto said he wanted to build something that represents his country. I think he did a fine job of that. Watching him shift gears as he shredded the streets was quality content. I was smiling from ear to ear. Total Badass.

I would love to see this thing in person… 😍 This car can easily be sold for $500k in the US

I saw a full carbon bodied R32 and a red R32 both parked together in the infield at the 24 hours at Daytona in Jan 2020

the most all around perfect mods i seen on youtube, bumper to bumper, everything was improved to the limit, 10/10 this guy gave this car true love.

I lost my shit when I heard his exhaust note. Why does this car sound sooo distinct!

Amazing. Also nice to see Larry's very tidy and stock R32 which is so rare these days.

The fact that he actually DRIVES the car ...! So cool best gtr build I've seen possibly best builds in general! What an inspiration for sure

Damn, that R32 looks amazing! The attention to detail is so impressive with how the carbon weave flows and matches. On top of that, the engine build is impeccable and that sound coming out of the full titanium exhaust is so dope. Seriously a rad one-of-a-kind GTR.

You're conversation coupled with the actual glimpse of the car is like sipping a nice cup of coffee while watching the sunrays shine out behind the mountains.. so triumphant. To mention nothing compares when bare hands touches a lifeless material is like breathing life into it. Ahhh... that's emotional for me.

This is the best GT-R I have ever seen! I miss my GTR very much! I used to own R32 GTR around 1990 to 1996 in Japan. But I am glad now many people talks about GTR in the world!

This vehicle is a Masterpiece, the fact that he NEVER considered this a show car and drives and races it is dope. If Sakamoto San brings this car and sens it down the 1/4 I'll be there!!!

What an amazing car, I cannot adequately express how much I love this thing.

i've seen this car 3 times in person already and every time im just amazed at the quality. What ever it cost is not enough to justify the amount of honed skill and effort it takes to make this.

For my opinion, easily the most incredible GT-R build I’ve ever seen. I’ve always been a fan of the MCR cars but this just takes the R32 platform to a whole new level.
