That was the ex-southern 171 that southern sold to EMR, if you look closer you will see the EMR emblem on the front of it

@@trainspottingwithdanYT I don’t think Southern sold it since I don’t think they personally own it. What probably happened is its lease ran out with whichever rolling stock company owns it eg Angel Trains, Porterbrook or Eversholt Rail, so it returned to them and was then chosen for further service with EMR to help displace 156s to Northern

Good to see the good old banana units there! Do you know the future of these two as one of the units has its nameplate removed meaning that either it’s sent to storage, ready to be scrapped or been repainted, either way I hope to see these beutiful units out again (if they ever do) and if ever destined to scrap I’m sure the 125 group will take them both.
Love your flyovers. There's a Blue class 57, at RTC, amongst that lot, No number on any sides. Anybody with a clue?
