Full CX Racing Turbo Kit Install! || Turbo E36 Build [Ep. 23]

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

It's time for the next step for the build and since there appears to be a lack of details on the subject I figured I would show you guys exactly how to install the cx racing turbo kit for E36s. This kit fits the same for all M50, M52, S50, and S52. important to not that after installing the kit you will need a tune before EVER hitting boost and you will have to upgrade your injectors, fuel pump, and maf for a safe tune that won't run lean. This will be in a future video!
**Make sure to watch this follow up episode for some quick adjustments I had to make after initial install! Very Import piece missed! Video HERE:

    the piece you dont want to install on air intake is the oxygen sensor. you have on the top, the caudalimeter that che the air flow, to share info ecu for the fuel mix, the oxygen sensor, helps you to share info to ecu, about air quality O2, for the mix too on injectors.

    Was literally typing up to go get a custom feed line made and then heard you talk about it in your video lol. Regarding your drain line, I don't think it will leak. It's not under pressure, so I think your rtv trick will work. I did notice it looks like your drain fitting in the oil pan is angled downward though. Is that how people do it on the e36? With how long your drain is, it might not be a problem, but that's a big no no in the Honda world because our drain lines are so short. Lastly, your turbo to manifold gasket probably shouldn't be stacked. I'm running just the sheet metal looking one and it's been fine on my car for awhile now. I'm glad the CX Racing kit worked so well for you, looks like you got one of the good ones haha!

  • @itsBlack

    You need to use the stamped steel gasket. Those perforated gaskets are garbage. Also if you use 2 gaskets, it's guaranteed to blow out. Make sure you put red locktight on all the bolts. With that oil feed replacing the vanos oil feed, are you deleting the vanos? Routing the oil feed line, I would suggest securing it to the front of the motor so it's not routed over anything.

  • @itsBlack

    @itsBlack

    Yeah a lot of people don't run coolant lines especially on top mount kits. Doesn't seem to be any problems out there

    Bro dont use those gasket for the turbo. One that looks like it has little holes in them. They will blow quickly. Hit me up man if you need a better quality turbo. Good luck with everything brother!
