Well said "you dont need makeup but if makeup makes you happy wear it you not hurting anyone" .....this is what ppl who dont wear makeup need to understand it's a choice . In this 2 years of lockdown when ever I felt down I use to follow these tutorials and take a few pics . Loved it and realised makeup actually makes me happy.

I know it's been at least a year since u posted this comment, but I just wanted to say, SAME!! Whenever I'm having a bad day, doing my makeup can make it better. If im not liking how I look when I'm already having a bad day, it makes it 100× worse! So, I do my makeup, take a few pics, look at myself in the mirror for a little bit, and then get it moving. Better starting the day later than never! Sometimes, it's the only way I can get out the door. Makeup is my armor. Lol

I personally have been wearing full coverage makeup and powder since I'm 12 and everyone used to say "you'll ruin your skin, you'll clog your pores, etc. etc., But now almost 45 years later I think it protected me from sun damage and I'm glad I did. I LOVE this look, it's fantastically stunning! You're amazing!

This is by far the BEST makeup tutorial I have ever seen on the internet. I am over 40 and now needing fuller coverage makeup but contouring and highlighting are on the newer side to me. I feel like you explained everything so perfectly without boring me with useless details. Thank you for such a great lesson. I’ve subscribed! PS. I’m 49 and this guy is the ONLY makeup channel I watch. I just love this guy and how real he is.

I just love the fact that you didn't delete the footage after you saw that the under eye area was too yellow, and instead showed us how to correct it, because this is what happens in real life, people don't always get the right shade from the first try but also don't feel like wiping it off and start over. Video idea: show us how to correct various mistakes that might occur during the makeup process.

I loooove that you spoke on time frame for makeup applications. It’s so frustrating when you’re working a bridal party & they’re frustrated that you can’t crank out full glam applications in 25-30 minutes. I’m like, 🤯. I take 45-1 hour for my applications for event makeup. Especially with skincare & lash applications.

She is beautiful before but the after result is so absolutely stunning! Love how you made her eyes colour pop without going too heavy on the smokey eye shadows.

I’m so proud of you, Spender. You are simply incredible. I would love to see you use a model with a brown/olive complexion. I’m Indian myself so it can be quite difficult, maybe even someone with problematic skin or texture. Sometimes hiding those pesky spots is impossible! I absolutely LOVE when you take your time with everything and include all of the steps! I think the steps that take longer are the most important to a curious, ever learning audience trying to get the look. Also, it’s soooo soothing to watch. It’s almost drool worthy! I think many can agree, lol. I think leaving all the steps makes people understand, and fully appreciate the end result more. This was amazing as always! I hope there’s more videos with no skips like these in the future! 😍

We do enjoy the blending footage. It also helps some of us that struggle with contour and bronzing because it shows how you drag out the jawline gradually. Very helpful.

This was amazing to watch! My jaw was dropped 95% of the time and only closed when I finished saying "wooow...." I love seeing the real and honest process. Sometimes I watch videos and feel discouraged or like i wasted my time because it doesn't seem like something I can authentically replicate.
