It so so important that people like you continue to share the material from Barry Harris. I am still a beginner and don't understand a lot of it. But I want to learn this from the beginning and not the other stuff wich the jazz schools teach :/ Thanks for you help with this channel !

Thanks for taking the time to comment, I love your feedback, I will be making some “simple “ less advanced tutorials like this one hopefully, always better to start with the basic simple stuff. So stick around, and thanks for the encouragement 🙏🏽.

Thanks, your camera angle makes the content so much easier to understand! I like how you go straight to the exercise. If I am correct you have a 1 flat 9 to the four that goes around the circle. I would be interested in more if you more. Thanks...

Hey thanks, glad you found it better. Yes you are right it’s the flat 2 that gets you to the 4. That’s where it gets interesting, because the C7 comes from that flat 2: C# diminished. When you lower any note of the C# diminished you will get a dominant every time, but that’s for another video about family and genealogy :)) also notice the C# is part of the F6-diminished scale so it gets you to F automatically….

@@CornelionSigismon Good question, there is no unque source that’s why I’m making up simple exercises that can get you there gradually. jazzworkshops website of Howard Rees can be a good starting point.
