Full Boar Brand Hydraulic Log Splitter Full Review

Full review of the Full Boar Hydraulic log splitter.
I could not find any other reviews on these Full Boar Splitters so figured I would make one for all interested parties. Biggest splitter I could find for the money. I looked at many before purchase and unfortunately no-one had one of these around on display to look at. Construction is comparable to other brands & I had looked at Champion, NorthStar, CountyLine & Lumberjack to name a few. Has a Full Boar branded engine that starts easy & runs good.
See for yourself and be sure to like & subscribe as I will be posting more videos of my acreage happenings!

As of this edit units are cheaper on Amazon. Looks like they make a log lift for this unit which is what the extra plate on the top of the axle is for. Can't find a price on it yet but may just make my own. Let me know if this would be of interest (can make a video of the process).

Thanks for the video, getting mine delivered tomorrow, got the log lift attachment as well, looking forward to working some ash rounds I have laying around, had a successful winter burning log rounds last year but it’s time to get the coal base from split wood, ash is free everywhere in Wisconsin right now
Thanks for the review. The 4 bolt holes on tank are for a hydraulic log lift table attachment.

I found that out after I uploaded this review. I may just make a lift myself for this unit utilizing those 4 tapped holes. If there is enough interest in this type of a build from anyone, let me know and I can post a video of the build. Thanks & be sure to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE. May God bless you all with good health & prosperity!
The plate on the tank is for an optional log lift table as is the square tube
Thank you for the review. Perhaps tag on a quick use of it would be nice. I appreciate that you said the cycle time but it might help others to just see it in action. Thanks again.

Thanks for the message. I will see if I can do a short on it sometime in the spring. I have it put away for the winter at the moment. Let me know in the meantime if you want anything more added to the short.
How do I drain the hydraulic line to get the piston to move

Hopefully I understand your question correctly, but you should be able to simply disconnect the hose(s) and apply pressure to the ram (come-along or jack).
Is the hydraulic filter internal?

Yes, it has a filter inside the tank (large rectangular tube the axles attach to) on the return line. Looks like 6 screws to remove it.
I hate these slot videos. Please turn the phone so we get a full wide shot. Not a dam slit.
