I love the story. Tx for posting. I'm sorry you couldn't get better audio. After it started again, I've put it on 1.75 speed and it helped reduce the pauses in the speech, made it listenable.

Thankyou so much for posting this video and the A.I. (1-2) audio book, I was listening to another video when the recording ended with 2 hours to go on the first book, came across your video 1 hour later but could only find an approximate place where it ended so missed a bit of the story. Thanks again.

Seems they did that to the audio on purpose.Because of no revenue. His other books are the same.After you get through about half of it the audio goes bad just like this one did

This would be enhanced for listeners if reloaded, and sound track should be re-engineered for high quality and no glitches.

Any chance of fixing this 2nd part of the lovely audiobook? It goes silent from 10:12:07 to 14:48:20, and from then the sound is jittery/broken making it difficult to enjoy. Cheers!

The audio cuts out after a while then it picks up but is terrible. I'm trying to tough it out but it's not an easy listen

Excellent story. But the audio falls of at the start of book 6 void ship. Technically there is some broken audio after, but it never recovers. No issues before this point.

Also, everything begins to drag and become nonsensical. SPOILERS The brain machine aren't put on lockdown, decommissioned, studied by Mentalist's, or have a basic alert system installed that triggers if the helmet is used, moved, or whatever. They have a group of almost genius-level Mentalist's, a Mercenary division, and other professionals, and no one considers the OPSEC of a device known to be paradigm-shifting?! And The Centurion and The Mentalist cannot overcome a mind f-ing even after been confronted with the evidence? They recorded their meetings. They, presumably, keep a log of them. It's a simple enough task to pull the videos from a meeting 6 months prior to analyse their changes in behaviour. And how it just so happened to coincide with the psychic alien been discovered and subsequently taken out. It's insulting to the readers/listeners intelligence. /rant

A couple of characters have religious beliefs why is that a problem? I feel it makes the story more realistic. The aliens even have their own religious beliefs adding depth to character development.

You ain't going to care what color the man watching your back is, all you're gonna care about is how reliable that man is." They repeated over and over and over again I guess just in case some of the men missed it the first 28,000 times they said it. I can still hear that voice saying that sometimes. That was over 30 years ago though who knows what they say now.

Is it just me or did the Bible rubbish come out of nowhere? And the Ten Commandments suck. The first three show a petty, jealous "God", the sabbath is just daft, and the rest can be condensed into 'do unto others as you would have done to thou self'. /rant
