They just can't satisfy everyone. When Black Mamba, Next Level, Savage and Girls dropped, people complained that the lyrics were cringeworthy and they needed to get rid of Kwangya to be more relatable. Now they work with different materials and people beg them to go back to what the did before. All I see is they have an exciting concert that showcases different facets of aespa and their music.

@@blink_____jenniequeen6670 I have been a MY since Next Level Era and if, as a fan, I find that the concept or the entire lore is making me stray past them, then I am sorry that I would rather not be a fan instead of shoving everything that they are feeding us. It's good they are trying concepts, but let's keep that to Mother Red Velvet. Whatever aettudae does, I simply don't care. If it's Naevis' or anyone else, for me it's just a promotion.

I have been a MY long enough to know that they have a stable fanbase who would be with them for whatever they put out. But, I am sorry, I am not obliged to like everything they put out. Better Thing and their teaser sound like Black Mamba's real world version. I have defended them when Spicy came out because that was actually something that related to the story. Better Things is just promotions in the West. If they wanted to introduce new villain, they should made it a prerelease before going back to their cyberpunk concept for the title track.

In this “song only for western promotion” is actually relating to them traveling back to the virtual world which you were introduced to in Next Level. The flat/Kwangya is coming into the real world, as seen in the Better Things teaser. And that ae-ttitude device is technology from Kwangya/the flat, which could be part of the reason the real world is collapsing (as seen in Spicy MV)
