The first song "Han" could be and should be an OST for a Historical Drama, any east asian drama atleast because the vibe fits that theme. And it somehow reminds me of BTOB's Lee Minhyuk(Huta)'s song titled "Falling Blossoms" in a way. Maybe not the composition and message but concept and also variety of genre cuz not every Kpop group can pull off this type of concept let alone envisioning it, and the fact the artists themselves are involved in the writing process is really an indication that they are beyond norms and prejudices. EDIT: Tnx 4 da likes. Now I'm hearing this with Assassin's Creed and it's hella good.

Not really. It uses native Korean beats in a dramatic sense. This has more of a movie ending theme. Its baseline theme is historic Korean tragedy. Especially with the fairy-like "la la la". Also, literally anything can fit into such things are there are no exclusions or exceptions.

Full disclosure: I stan Oh My Girl, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate other groups (Izone, Twice, Loona). (G)I-DLE didn't come on my radar until New Years Day, and I had definitely been sleeping! This album shows what happens when you give really talented people full creative control. Several things appeal to me about this group. It seems the excellent group leadership is more concerned with producing a beautifully balanced work of art then they are with selfish self- promotion. As a newcomer watching their performances, Soyeon, Minnie & Yuqi seem very unselfish and considering how extremely difficult song writing & production is, it's amazing the videos are as balanced as they are. Regarding this silly obsessive preoccupation with line distribution, I would say that with ANY group endeavor, some get more & some get less. If someone gets less in this one, odds are they'll get more in the next. As they say in NYC, "Not-for-nuthin, it is what it is." Of course there'll probably always be someone that would criticize Leonardo Da Vinci for not using exactly equal amounts of 6 colors when painting the "Mona Lisa." I'm happy for NEVERLAND, a supportive & appreciative fanbase, that can recognize a beautiful work of art when they see & hear it. (G)I-DLE, I love ya! Everyday, every night , LATATA!

Kh, thank you so much for the reply! I didn't know about choosing the lines. You made my day! As a side note, it seems to me a rapper who is also a vocalist would automatically get more. And sometimes Soyeon doesn't get the most even though SHE WROTE THE SONG!

It always amazes me when someone says they're just learning writes better than most native English speakers. I might go years before I see another person use the word "poignant."

@@abhinavrc171 im sorry for saying this but first of all, Minnie is my bias so ofc I would praise her even though I am an OT6. Then, tbh for real, I think Miyeon’s voice didnt suit Gidle’s song. Her voice are so powerful that sometimes it didn’t goes well with the song meanwhile Minnie can adjust her voice according to any genre. And here I’m not comparing both of them. For sure both of them were good that they are our Main Vocal. But I really really really love Miyeon’s voice in Dumdi Dumdi because the chorus suit her very well. So in my opinion, I think Miyeon’s voice suit upbeat song and more cheerful song. Furthermore I think Knetz love Miyeon and she is not underrated or under appreciated at all. Sorry if this sounds harsh but this is just my opinion and I love Miyeon too :)

I just feel sad because when I became a naverland....I rarely see any appreciation for Miyoen... Miyoen once said in a vlive she also read the comments of us ...so if she didn't see no one appreciating her that make her sad.....ao i just express my feeling somewhere.....I love all of them and my fav is yuqi's tone ...and I know Minnie is really talented....but Miyoen is underappreciated,.... Why this album is so good and unique? These girls do it all themselves and put a lot of effort in their craft. I know cube tries to manufacture them but they still know how to play the game in their favor. G-IDLE is the biggest act Cube has and is all a group of rebels.

This album is definitely the best one, and produced by them self, I can see their quality, some famous gg just win the "famous" but not quality

It's really cool how g idle used Chinese characters in the first two song titles which gives it more of an ancient and mystical aura. The Chinese character for han normally describes a cold and frosty weather, and the characters for hwaa means fire flower in Chinese. This album is just so perfectly cultivated ❤️❤️

전소연이 전소연함 뭔 노래가 저래 처음 듣자마자 외워버리네... 뭔가 민족성을 들끓임... 전천재 사랑해 음색도 파트별로 너무 어울려

Yuqi’s line in Lost is one of my favorite part of this album!

This album makes me feel a very weird feeling, something that I have never experienced before. It's like warmth and comfort, but from a raging fire.

This is the type of album that is no humanely possible to listen just once.

I never listen to a full album of any gg, the last time I did that was with Rainbow, until I met G-Idle, I listen to all songs, back to back, they have this power over me, and I have no regret, I burn is a masterpiece

I have to say that this WHOLE album is amazing, though I'm honestly so in love with "Lost", the vibes are amazing, the breathy singing feels ethereal and the melody is really catchy.

I fell in love with "LOST" and "MOON". This album is masterpiece. I hope CUBE make MV for all song in this album, at least lyric mv so that more people can show their admiration, love to my talent girls.

Moon sounds so beautiful. It showcase the vocal line's voice perfectly also soojin sounds so good. Iam surprised. Minnie is so talented!
