As of March 2024 this STILL works great. here are ALL traps used. broadsides: physical, 2x crit rating, reload, crit damag, durability ceiling electric field: energy, 2x damage, reload, crit rating, durability anti air: range, 2x reload, 2x durability, heals attached soundwall: 5x durability and reload speed wall dynamo: energy, damage, 2x crit damage, crit rating, heals attached wooden floor spikes: physical, 4x damage and heals attached wall spikes: physical, 4x durability and heals attached wall launcher 1: 3x impact, 2x reload and durability wall launcher 2: 5x durability and reload speed freeze trap: 2x impact, 2x reload, 2x durability wall darts: physical, 4x durability, reload drop traps: physical, 4x durability, reload 👍

Thank you for this guide! My trap durability bonus wasn't as high as yours so for now I am using Machinist Harper to get almost as same durability on these traps in the video! My runs are going smooth now because I added traps at end of each routes of amps. Thanks again, this video helped!

I followed your homebase and two amp trap sets and the other two were built on my own due to shortage of materials. I mained Swamp Knight, who worked as a spawn point tank and really came in handy. But I had a frustrating day since the first and second attempt failed at 6th wave and 26th wave because of sudden diaconnection, which drove me mad! My 3rd attempt went well thanks to your instruction! However, the reward seemed too shaby considered the effort and time I've put into the challenge.

Rewards are aweful, but the BR xp is great 😂. Just be careful that since epic changed everything again, this may not be fully afk any more

Completely 30 waves second try relatively easy 90% afk. I don’t know if I missed a few builds or what but I’m gonna tweak it a tad on my amp d and it should be fully afkabke. Thanks a lot for taking the time to make this guide.

this helped so much very other build was way over the top and had unnecessary builds but this worked well i didn’t have dart walls so i used broadsides but everything worked extremely well even though i had to replace a few traps because of their low durability (which is my fault) but it all worked i did take some damage but i did it all in one attempt

thank you for all the time you put into making it as minimal and optimal as possible. i did have to make some upgrades here and there to make it afkable, but now that it is, it's simply an amazing thing to have set up.

I surrounded the whole D amp with tire traps and floor traps, plus a maze off walls. Then I watched the tornado and lava tear it all up LOL. Glad he has the same D amp as I do.

Thank you so much for this guide! Spent a couple days setting this up and just finished my first ever endurance, managing to survive all 30 waves with not much problems. I did notice North West's Amp took a little bit of damage & some husks managed to destroy some floor traps for the south spawn of the West Amp but other than that everything else worked really well.

North west amp I noticed recently flingers causing problems, a couple more anti airs at the spawn fixed it. Things always changing with every update sadly, but this should always be viable with a little tweeking here and there

Just remember my amps were build with this afk spot in mind, so if your builds are different you may find smashers and mini bosses target some structures as they try and get to you 👍

Thx for this updated version i did wave 30 with machinist Harper for the 52% durability and only blue traps not even fully upgraded cause i just arrived in Plankerton yes i had to place cpl new traps because they ran out and had to shoot a bit and kill the bossess in the last wave + smasher for wanting to destroy amp southwest but i got it done and not even used a afk spot or got any help from others joining in 😁 so now im gonna perk up and upgrade the traps replace them and do it again and build the afk spot.

Just did this build in May 2023 and it worked. Only had to tweak Central amp a bit as husks focus on smashing one of the walls and the later waves release mini bosses but other than that, amazing!

@@TheBulbasaurKid deferent people and different survivors squads can mean it works differently. Just add a few extra bits here and there and it should be fine. Find out where it's failing and you will know where to adjust with extra traps

Yo guys i copied all these traps and did afk endurance today….you need to keep some things in mind before you go for afk endurance 1. Make sure you guys copy all perks he showed in video because i had low durability traps and i had to make some changes by putting more traps 2. Use machinist harper as your main hero it’ll increase your traps durability by 52.5% use survivalist jonesy in your support heroes and use team perk slow your roll if possible this perk will slow down smashers by 43% and freeze zombies as well but you don’t have this perk it’ll still work 3. Third and most important go in your survivor squad and match trap durability set bonus in all squads(make sure u take screenshot before doing that so you can revert these changes and come back to your power lvl)….no need to match personality this will drop your power lvl but trust me it doesn’t matter if you are still above power lvl 27 because stonewood cap your powerlvl to 26 anyway And yes it works perfectly fine

You need to put survivalist jonesy in support heroes in your loadout because while you’ll be afk there are wargames in waves that damage you if you’re outside of those selected safe zones so if you have survivalist jonesy in support heroes you’ll get healed while zombies are dying on traps and good luck

at 45:00, I actually once encountered a spawn up on the very edge corner of that anchor spot. It sent waves of husks down that almost caused me to lose if I wasn't checking in at the right time to jump down and defend the amp in that run. I put a bunch of floor spikes on that entire area just to cover it.

Update: the defense is going quite well, although with the current bug of the durability of traps it makes them wear out faster, I also have to improve my survivors so that they have the right benefits (I don't know how to farm them), at the moment I can do it 100% afk until the 20th wave (now use Google translator)

thanks for the video and detailed explanation. it got me to the 20th wave very easy, built it with tier 2 brick, and my trap durability wasnt the best so I used harper, and it still wasnt enough after 20 waves, last 10 waves I had do do some work but still it was very efficent. but I beat 30 waves on first try without breaking a sweat. thanks to you, do you mind sharing some tips for trap durabilty and what to do after 20th wave.

Glad it helped. To increase trap durability and damage you need to get as many trap durability survivors in your squads, max out your fort stats, get all your traps to max with gold perks, and of course harper always helps

The only benefit from leveling higher is the trap durability and damage increases, so by all means give it a try with 77s 👍

For short cut, place infinte drop traps and place more anti-air traps.

Hey thank you for the video, but do you think you could help me because I can’t craft anymore drop traps because I don’t have any of the sleek mechanical parts

Great vid to anyone with low trap duro use machinist harper in lead while afk for an additional 52.5 percent trap duro also he said it in the beginning put on survivalist but I thought I should reiterate it also I recommend putting down the banner at the top of the afk tower bc it will respawn you there is you end up falling and dieing somehow I'm sure there is other good buffs to have that I haven't thought of so be creative

And I just realized place you base down on the tip of the afk tower and activate base MD with warden kyle it heals 3.75 base hp per 1 second

Thanks for this. (Hmm. I thought I'd posted this. Maybe not? I don't see it... ) Edit: I think the level cap in Stonewood might make the max shields too low for this to keep up with the storm damage over time. May be viable in other regions. Protip for the ages: The Spec Ops SMG, "The Pepper Sprayer" has a potential 6th perk that regenerates 10% shields per second when not moving. This is a good alternate to Blast from the Past team perk and adding two+ dinosaur heroes and/or survivalist. You can turn, aim, fire, emote... as long as you don't change position. Before I unlocked Twine Peaks, I was able to hang out in the storm in Canny Valley without my shields depleting.

i made it to wave 16 fully afk after my ceiling traps were definitely an issue even though they are level 106 i had to come back sometimes after a wave to replace the traps with new ones, Great build still just not yet fully afk for me gonna have to perk my traps first up

Can I maybe have 2 of the floor freeze trap cuz grinding for godroll just for 2 traps seems pretty useless

In order to get the team perk Soaring Mantis you’ll need to get the mythic soldier Wukong. If you have a hero recruitment voucher you can acquire him in the collection book or you can always get the voucher by reaching level 20 on the current season of Venture. Once you have acquired him, his team perk will be added automatically, you actually don’t even need to have him in your hero loadout. Although, you will need to have a ninja commander and at least 3 other ninjas in order to use the perk. Hope this helped!

south east amp had lava spots (its my amp D) and the amp got down to 3825 health

I built this on my other account which had a 54pl and only 1 +8% durability squad bonus, same traps n everything, I needed this for battlepass xp, it survived 30 waves fully afk, i was just watching and doing other stuff to look for areas i can improve, and only problem was with the amplifier to the west of homebase, traps ran out after 5th wave on there, it started taking damage on the 26th wave, but it survived the wave. i was unlucky enough to get it attacked again on the 27th wave tho. also survived.

Placed all the walls down yesterday going to work on the traps today (I probably don't have enough materials to build all the traps anyways) Two concerns though, 1. Most of my traps are all legendary perked out. A couple are all epic. Would all epic be an issue? 2. When you say you are maxing out your survivor squad for trap durability, are you ignoring matching personalities? I don't have enough different surivvors for perfect matches

Depends on your power level and fort stats as to weather epic perks will be enough. My squads are almost all trap durability, not matching squad bonus. You can slot in epic trap survivors if needed and machinest Harper as commander to boost trap durability. As long as you have some decent trap damage and durability then I'm sure you will be fine

Still works for OG season, not that it's needed, OG season is literally the easiest to level ever, my son and I finished the Battle Pass (not counting bonuses) on the first weekend...without doing this stuff on STW since I didn't even know about it then. My power level is 132, all traps done to pinned comment specs but level 106 and my perks are only blue quality with maybe epic or legendary here and there. My survivors have around 90% bonus to durability in total. My first run completed wave 16 despite all the durability bugs and whatnot. Added a bit of traps at the weak points (took notes while watching the first run), and second run completed wave 22. Again, made a couple tweaks in weak spots and third run completed all 30 waves. It is very much a durability thing at the moment, at least for me since my perks are only blue (less damage, durability, reload, etc..) If they fix the durability bug...LMAO...cough...it will work without the above mentioned tweaks. I always played STW with 2-4 accounts simultaneously before (only 2 accounts these days) and I realized the healing perk from Jonesy in your team (forget the name) doesn't work on my alt character since that account is doing no damage. In the moment I just used a campfire on the AFK spot, but the next time I used the healing base (the Santa Kyle) so that we can be healed AFK, which the campfire would not. It works great! Great video, thank you; using your code. Back to Fortnite after a long break and I did not want to spend 100 hrs figuring out all this stuff.

up until this durability bug happened, my stonewood and plankerton endurances were both 100% afk for me, and my canny was like 99% (because i still need to fix it from months ago). when it gets fixed, they should be back to fully afk again. the reason these work so well is because they dont use very much block off so the husks are always taking their natural route they would want to go. they should always work, unless epic completely changes the ai

@@RiverFox_YT Yes it really allows their natural paths and it's a very light build compared to what I had previously done. Tearing down my other accounts for more mats, it was so overbuilt, so many traps and tunnels. This build is so efficient.

Is it necessary to uprgade the heals attached building, crit damage, critical rating and damage to legendary or can i leave them at rare ?

if they are going to be used on the back of a wall where husks cant get to them then you dont need to perk those parts up. if you are going to use them on the fronts of the walls then id recommend perking them as they will kill the husks quicker

on wave 6 rn and it works fine so far, im worried i might have to replace some traps since i dont have that high durability

Build it off the top of the afk spot will be fine

just got confuse um when adding amplifiers? do you change the build for that type of scenario or it just progresses and just leave it or do you change the layout completely just like the West Amp- South Spawn to South West Amp - South spawn. there were some removed structures from the original of West Amp- South Spawn when it was at the part of South West Amp - South spawn building. 31:40 to 46:00 the brick walls were not there and the wall floor above (brick) near the amp was removed

@@duck6770 tou can only place a certain amount of amps on all the storm shields, twine being the exception to that. Once they are placed, you are stuck with them and can not change them. Shame epic never added a rest option

Husk ai was changed a little while ago so husks and mini bosses no longer target the player. I haven't run this in a little while but last time I did, the mini bosses tended to head to the amp structures but it still held up the 30 waves

if you have just finished stonewood then your fort stats, hero perks and traps will not be strong enough to last for an endurance

Hmmm, I haven't ran it myself for a couple of weeks . You may just have to add a few extra straps at the amp to kill him off if he's not dying before hand

So at 56:53 you show the defenses for that part but I already have different defenses for that amp in the way from what you showed earlier

I'm running this exact build now. I have the same exact perks and durability uses on all my traps as this video. For the east side of the amplifier that is the first one to the south of the main one, the drop traps are all out of durability already and it is only wave 17? They had 104 uses. I have to replace those every time I run this?

It is the fact that the drops are right above the spawn. They activate before any other traps get to do anything so their durability burns way too quickly

majority of the time, homebase will only get attacked on the first wave. due to random waves it is possible that homebase can get attacked again in later waves which is why there are wall darts placed further up the hill on their path to the homebase. if it does get attacked more than once then it is highly likely they will run out at later waves, but the wall darts should take then out before they get anywhere near to the base. in all my runs i have never had homebase hit more than 3 times

Do you think this method will work with level 77 traps? (Not looking to get to wave 30 each time, just want to get past wave 16 consistently)

apologies i missed so many things, no matter how many times i watched the video before uploading it. wall darts are all durability and 1 reload speed. and the ceiling drop traps are the same, full durability and 1 reload speed. hope this helps.

@@kirock1 I don't have a vid on it but I'm about 4 survivors away from full trap durability. You can use machinest Harper as main if you want to increase your durability though

If you started yesterday then you will need to wait a long time before attempting endurance. You need to finish all 10 ssds in any zone first before you unlock the endurance and your survivor squads and fort stats will be nowhere near where they need to be to complete it

Hey can u explain what effect the edited walls around ur amps has ?and why some amps are open (no wall) ?

All my amps have the same build.buulding the amp in this exact way prevents the smashers from charging the amp and mini bosses will ignore it. The mix of edited walls and arch ways means they will ignore the build and look for you

Hello lad, just out of curiosity, on amp d on wave 30 mist pods spawn and they hatch mini bosses... would that be a problem or can you still afk wave 30?

When this was designed, mini bosses targeted the player, now they target the base instead. But from my runs recently, this should not be a problem as they will just go and slowly destroy the structures around the amp.

If you don't have amps placed in those directions then yes you will get attacked from there

I haven't tested with war games, but if using 144 or 130 then I see no reason it wouldn't work

small question, how could i make it so that my traps dont break so fast with tornados coming through

If you have built it right then the tornado should not touch your traps at all

Wow, now I want to build this base, But not sure because I built a castle in my stonewood, And with your base you have the same amps placed like I do in my stonewood so I might consider destroying my castle and remake this masterpiece

even if i don’t have the trap durability or the traps levels since mine cap around 50, can i still do this to get xp? i don’t expect to get to round 30, jss as far as i can for the xp

of cource. you can always add more traps to almost all the amps to make it go further if your under powered, just go careful around then tornado amp as that will get destroyed by the tornado. other than that, your free to add as much traps as you like

i have a pl of 74 and a trap durability of 193% when machinist harper's in the lead, as well as all traps at level 77 (max evo 3), would these be enough to run the endurance? i can just gather the perk ups/reperks, but im very cautious on using all my materials crafting everything

the pl and trap dura probably wouldnt be an issue for you, the thing that may cause the issue is the perks on the traps themselves

also do you think all purple perks will work or does it all have to be legendary?

Would 106 traps work well? I have tons of materials to make 106’s but not to make 130’s

you will have to try it, it depends if you have high enough trap durability. you could always add machinist harper as your commander to boost your durability

Does some amplify gonna be damage like the storm shield because on round 26 there are husks passing through the traps living

If yours are taking damage then either your traps aren't correct or your too low power level as this is still fully afk for me with no amp damage

What traps did you use on the ceiling tires drop trap?

I've followed many builds in the past and it seems like all of my failures and troubles no matter what I do come from not the husk spawns but the war games modifiers, torn apart tornado rips apart my trap tunnels, hot spots just deny buildings wherever/whenever they want and mist pods just suck. I can't understand how people are able to afk stonewood endurance.

This build I have tested and tested and providing everything is followed exactly, then tornado should miss all but 2 structures, lava pools should spawn away from builds and mini bosses should wander around either in an endless loop at the amp or underneath your afk spot.

Will 130s with full blue perks be good? I don't have a lot of perk ups, maybe i have enough to upgrade all the durability to legendary but thats it.

They will work, but not with a minimal build like this. Lower perks means lower stats so you would need a lot more traps

I wanna say thanks first for the effort, as of November 2023 this still works, I only had one problem which is: why after the first endurance are all my traps with like half durability? Shouldn't they go back to full durability? I'm still using harper as my hero which grants a bonus of 52.5% of traps durability and i also added more traps bonus survivors, but i only get like 37/67 durability on aerial defense for example. Can you help me?

Oh ok, i also tried to break and replace traps, but if you get out the world, same problem. Plus it removed some floor spikes I had placed😂. Anyway thanks again, also for the quick answer and for the explanation.

@@davimancio2746 disappearing traps has been a thing for years, totally random and nothing you can really do about it. A good tip though is whenever you change anything in a storm shields, always run wave 1 before leaving as this makes sure everything saves correctly.

Question: I’m pwr lvl 130 and have research max but don’t have a lot of trap durability survivors, if i ran machinist harper would it still be afk able

Machinest Harper will definitely help you out with this. On my alt account it did make it 30 waves several times with low trap durability, but not guaranteed

I don’t get why people say a healing 6th perk is bad compared to build health. You get infinitely more out of it than the pure build buff.

Mainly because in higher missions a smasher will pretty much charge through everything, making stronger health pretty useless

Just ran it overnight for the first time with 140% trap durability (192.5 because of machinist Harper) fully afk’d even through wave 30 somehow

Doesn't the increased trap durability for machinist harper only work to the traps which are connected to the base? meaning you would have to move the base around a lot to keep the durability for all the different amplifiers that are on opposite ends of the map? how is this afkable?

If you are underpowered then extra traps will need to be added. Just be mindful of the tornado wave as anything close to the amp will get damaged or destroyed by tornado

Do you mean south amp? Then no you won't need south build for amp a if the amp below it is placed

the higher the perks the better they are. if you only have blue perks then they wont deal as much damage or last as long as they would if gold

What lvl of traps is recomended ? Because your traps are lvl 75 /76

These traps are 130. The level is reduced down to a stonewood level trap, but the extra perks that come with a 130 trap is what's important in endurance
