Fujitsu Lifebook AH531 power fix
Fujitsu Lifebook AH531 power fix.
This might be a solution also for AH530 model.
First of all you should put a towel or a blanket on the work bench/table. The glossy finish might scratch.
This will be a good moment to remove the dust from your laptop
PS. My level in English is fair enough to understand and write or speak, but my accent is hilarious. So I added subtitles for explanations.
PPS Some viewer reported that same fix works also for AH512

The AH531 is an amazing laptop... I still use mine daily and its been so easy to fix any issues I've had with it over the years - and I am a rank amateur when it comes to fixing computers... Owning this PC has taught me so much about the various components... Mind you at this stage its a bit like Trigger's broom as I have replaced the HDD with an SSD; Replaced the cd drive with a HDD bay; Upped the memory and swapped the i3 processor for an i7; Changed the WiFi card for one that could receive a 5ghz signal; and swapped the usb daughter board after the original one broke... The only thing I haven't fixed on it is a broken USB port on the motherboard, which needs soldering back on.
One of the most instructional videos on KZread. Fantastic.
You made this video 6 years ago, I just used it in Jan 2022 to fix my laptop. Thank you so very much. Lifesaver!
Fantastic detailed step by step video. Thank you very much. With the help of your video I was able to get my lifebook running again and it wasn't difficult at all thanks to you !!! I'm very grateful !
The soft music saved me having a heart attack, and it was going so well until 14.48 when you said "put back together".I will give it a go. About the clearest video I have ever seen, thank you.
Thank you for this. After buying a new cable that didn't work i thought i'd see if anyone else had this problem. Turns out the do. Thank you for a really easy to follow guide.
Thank you very much for the instructional video! It saved my mother-in-law's AH531 regardless her laptop had a different situation. There was nothing wrong with the DC connector inside the laptop. When turning on, the power blue light was on for 2 seconds then it went off. I followed the whole process except soldering the wire, and I cleaned up all dust. The laptop is working again.
Great guide, this saved my laptop!! Had no eperiences at all so it took some hours...
Thank you! After buying new battery and then new charger to no avail, finally tried this and this was the problem! All sorted now, thanks.
Thank you buddy, just fixed my laptop. First time to open it up like this. I hope your kindness will be rewarded somehow.

I have a similar laptop, though I do not have the issue, it was great to watch this well put together guide, it was slow and detailed and easy to follow even for someone dense like me, great job bro
Thank you man you saved my laptop , this tutorial work on Fujitsu lifebook AH512.
Great tutorial, just soldered the cable... you're great!
I was convinced that this could not be the fault with my laptop as it was never abused by pulling the power cable out in the way I have seen done by other laptop users, therefore it had to be a power chip etc ?
Thanks so much for this video. Very well explained and helpful. Just saved me so much time!
Thank you so much ! I have the exact same laptop with the same issue. Fixed and working again.

Thanks ! I love you ! I have the exact same problem, and now my computer is fixed and running perfectly, better than before :D ! Thanks you so much !
