Fujitsu Ducted Aircon - How-To Enable Thermo Sensor
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
This video describes the common problem and fix for the Thermo Sensor function in Fujitsu Ducted air conditioner. This function is usually disabled at the factory and the unit reads the room temperature from the air intake instead of the wall control unit. As the result, it doesn't hold the temperature well.

It has taken me 15 years to realise this ! Thankyou so much.
This has done my head in for 18 months now. Thought the thermostat was broken lol. Thankyou 👍
Thank you, fixed the issue of aircon being unresponsive to temp settings. I had to long press the button, then short press it again when blinking

This is great. I found these instructions were in the Installation Instructions Sheet, under Section 7 Remote Controller Setting. Maybe those don't get kept by many people, but the lady we bought our house had kept them and passed them on. Lucky!
This finally worked for me. Fujitsu sent me instructions to do it. First, you must turn the remote OFF first. Then you can hold 3 buttons down for 5 seconds to enter settings mode (temp up & down, fan). Then you set the different codes (42 and 48 are set to 1). Hit Timer Set to save each one. Finally you must turn off/on your AC system for them to read the new codes. I was able to turn on the thermo sensor this way. Unfortunately my sensor is off by 2 degrees but there’s a setting to correct that also.
You have the best Chanel, on earth Even with one video 😹😂🤣
Thank you so much, I followed your instructions and it worked!!! I now can control the temperature. so thankful

Thanks! it worked for me
I have the same sensor panel. I use the sensor in the duct, I figured the panel sensor wasn't working although I believe that was how it was originally setup. I find the duct sensor is fine as the panel is at door and that is usually a cold spot in my house so not accurate. The duct shouldn't be affected too much from the roof temperature as is measuring the air temp that has come from the house and it's a fairly good representation of the system. Most AC you won't be able to set a temp and get that exact temp it's relative, unless there's some fancy calibration done on the system. Generally you just work out what is comfortable 24 to 28 for mine and put it up or down a couple of degrees depending on the outside temp.
Thank you very much for this cheat. Basic fuction that I was looking for on the oficial manuals for years. I hope save a lot of money with electricity bill with this option activated.

Hi I have the 00:20errror, can you help me? fujitsu ARYA45LCTU this is the model
You are a hero.
Thank you this was exactly what I wanted
Thanks very much, you save my live ♥
You are the BEST!
Hi can you please tell me the product number/code for this model of air con... my parents have this and I can't find the code anywhere on the unit. thank you.
Thanks. Worked for me. Unfortunately the ceiling intake vent and the controller are in a hallway right beside each other and the ducts vent to the bedrooms so the hallway remains un-cooled/heated. Not much point in having a sensor here.
I am having trouble getting my Fujitsu ducted air con to switch from heat mode (with the sun) to cooling (the snowflake). It will flick through the different modes but just won't stay on the snowflake one. Any suggestions?
I can't read the settings as the lighting is too dim ? How do I fix that ?
Thank you very much👍
Well, I have a question and general, why does it stop after 3 minutes, what else can be the problem, I want to go, and the fan coil shuts down, why?
Thank you thank you thank you! If I could give you a gazillion likes...lol
Wow it worked thanks 😊
Hey I got an error code 0:1b, did some quick research and apparently it is an outdoor fan issue. any thoughts on how to fix without a technician?

HORAY I figured it out. Just had to turn off the outdoor pump at the switch for like 5 minuets. Hopefully I didn't just hide the problem instead of fixing a bug. also i think the code might have been 0: 16 cant tell the diff
You god dam champion
We had a service done and the guy told me about it and enabled it. Also being curious i managed to turn it off and i could not get it back on. To turn ours on i have to hold the thermo button on for a few seconds until it flashes and then short press again
Saved the day 🤣
Hi Andre, this may be the answer to my air conditioning. I could get the thermos sensor symbol to come on but does it have to stay on the display for it to work ? Thanks

Thank you Andrew! You are ace! I did get the thermo sensor symbol to stay on 🎉 it’s about 12-13 outside now - I’ve set my heating to 19 and my thermometer which I placed near the control is also showing 19 and the heating has turned off!! Yay! I have a few queries tho 1) we too have our Fujitsu zoned - one switch is bedrooms and one is living. Currently we have set the zone to bedrooms with all doors open and we know with zoning it dues also blow in the common areas so if we are in the living room we will get some heating. My query is should we have living and bedroom on or only one of them? Bedroom preferred so we can go to bed in a warm room. 2) Also, this control does not display the room’s current temperature and I notice you have a thermometer located just near your control - which brand and is it worth it? 3) can we set the system to come on at a certain time in the mornings? We have the same model as you? 4) plz give me the link of the other video you referred to in this video about another option to set this system. Thanks very much

Andrey not Andrew sorry
Thank you for sharing the details. I enabled the thermo sensor though I couldn’t connect to remote control. Could you please support me in this?
Andrey, i just moved to europe (spain), from the US and i have the exact same controller as you, can you please give me a model number, because i cannot find one on my wall controller.
Did you ever figure out how to set this as the default? I seem to have to re-do this every time the air conditioner loses power. I've had some people install an AirTouch system (Australian advanced controller), but it seems the AirTouch isn't able to feed the temperature in. I figured out the unlocking part, but it's not clear to me that the system is actually reading from the AirTouch instead of from the wired remote. When you talk about the 'function setting' I assume you're referring to holding the up, down and fan buttons. I tried this too and wasn't able to get anywhere, but I noticed that those instructions seem to work for slightly different units. When I looked into it, it seems this remote is a UTB-UUB type, and I was able to find a partial manual but there was no way of getting into the 'function setting' mode detailed in there.

I've read if you open the control panel there are 6 dip switches underneath. You need to flick switch #6 to the on position so it remembers after a power loss etc.
