Can't wait to try that one out. CyberConnect2 is such an underrated gem of a developer, giving us a lot of original sleeper hits left and right and this one is no exception. THIS really shows the passion Hiroshi Matsuyama and his teams have when making them. We need more original and unique games like it.

The soul cannon makes me think of the Plume from Valkyrie profile Plume something on the DS where your main character can sacrifice a friend to gain a power.

Have not played that, so for me it reminds me most of Bokurano: Ours, which, without saying much due to spoilers, has a very similar concept at play.

@@TheMixedPlateFrequency they exist in the same universe and play insanely differently; they’re entirely different genres of rpg. Little tail concerto was the first game(I think) and solatorobo was another story in the universe with the protag of little tail making a cameo in some sidequests

Fuga's release date was my fav E3 announcement, so i'm happy it's finally coming out. I just can't wait

Really liked this game. The difficulty was a little too hard at first but if there's a tip to help out people struggling at first it's this. At first pair up the party and increase their affinity with their 'partners' as much as you can. Later a lot of the end bosses can be circumvented with a high number of link attacks so get as many characters with mid to high affinity levels and stockpile link attacks to be used on the bosses (mostly to destroy their weapons to prevent high damage attacks so you can wail on their bodies)

This looks cute and interesting, mostly because I fondly remember Solatorobo and I’m glad the team is still making games like that. It’s definitely on my radar now

Wasn't aware of this game till recently. Looks really cool. Hoping for physical copy, especially non limited bs. I can wait especially now with Cris Tales,Neo Twewy and huge backlog.

I just saw this on Gamepass, and hoped it was an Advance Wars-esque game based solely off the vertical split screen battles, but it doesn't actually look like it. Is it weird to just want a clone of that game? I loved it so much.

@@neolordie Then exactly how does this reviewer get so close to the character he killed by using it? 10 minutes seems hardly time enough to do that. Without playing the game, I doubt this happens 10 minutes into the game, probably more like 2 hours but no way it is 10 minutes. Also, never saw any preview that gave indication that firing the thing actually kills a playable character you spend time developing/knowing. Regardless, it is indeed a bit "spoilery", now I know to avoid firing it if I can and when I do the result won't be as impact full for sure.

I was extremely interested I this when I saw it highlighted in another you tubers video. But what is the deal with this price? 57.13? Is anyone else getting this? Is this a mistake? Not only is it expensive but what a weird price. Please someone enlighten me on why.

I absolutely love the look of this game and I’ve tried to get into it a few times…but that split screen battling just kills my hype every time.

0:42 “furry action RPG …with its turn-based combat system” …I’ll assume that’s an RPG about furry action rather than an action RPG about furries, then. :p Regardless, makes me want to try it.

It's actually a prequel. One of the characters is even a distant ancestor to someone in Solatorobo.

Yea, I tried dancing around it, but it was a significant feature that i was emotionally attached it. I agree though, it caught me off guard and I should have allowed others to experience the same thing.

They missed the chance to call the soldiers Grrmans rather than Berman omg

I haven't played the game and was looking for a review that would tell me if the game was good, like reviews do, but not to spoil me an emotional moment in the game, even if its from the beginning. Its still robbing me of the surprise

But does it have a Waffle and Alicia cameo?

This sounds like a great game. But I don't like the whole furry look, $60 is a bit much for a digital only game, and I need to get through my backlog. So I don't know if I'll pick this up.
