That really sucks though. The thing about the Rock genre is the raspy voice makes it all the better, unfortunately singing from your diaphragm makes most of the raspiness very faint, which takes away from the song. But, I would much rather have a singer keep their singing voice, than to see them lose it, especially so early in their careers.

*****, Yes it has! Thank goodness for that. Brett released an album with his side project band World Fire Brigade (check them out if you haven't already. They are like a heavier version of Fuel) in 2012, and he sounded spectacular in that. There are even parts of those songs on the album where he sounds like he did on the first two Fuel albums... and of course he sounded even better in Fuel's most recent album "Puppet Strings," that was released in 2014. Just FYI, Fuel is currently working on their sixth studio album. I cannot wait to hear new music from them!

Now here is a singer that can sound just as good as he does on the albums. This dude doesn't need to be dolled up and filled in with sound effects to sound good like a lot of mainstream singers that are propped up by media hype. Awesome song, awesome performance.

How many awesome songs like this have come out over the last 20 years that we haven’t found yet because radio and mtv doesn’t love rock music anymore. iTunes and Spotify are trying, but it just isn’t the same as that rock station you’d listen to driving to school in the morning

@@timothygonzalez4837 instead of trying to dump on people’s taste of music, try getting a life, finding a girlfriend, a hobby, maybe some friends, etc…it’s unfortunate that you really think people care what you have to say…if your younger years sucked that bad that you don’t hold on to some of the things you grew up with, I feel terrible for you. Take care and just remember next time you run your mouth, people probably won’t really care what comes out of it. Best of luck to your evolution through life though…
