Fuego Dance Shoe Review! One year dancing in Fuego sneakers: the pros, cons and should you buy them?

A full review of the popular Fuego Dance Sneakers after nearly one year of wearing them!
Hello! I am Jemma from Basakizz, a community for dancers of Bachata, Salsa, and Kizomba in Hong Kong. As there aren't many places to buy dance shoes in Hong Kong, I tend to buy all my equipment online. In order to give some options to our community members, we paired with Fuego to offer discount codes to any members of our community who might be interested in purchasing a pair.
I always partner with companies that I like and use myself. Still, after dancing in the Fuego dance shoes for over 9 months, I thought it was time to give you all a full review on my experience of dancing in Fuego dance shoes as a follower.
I have to say, I really like these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and great for dancing on all surfaces. I bought them so I could have a pair of dance shoes that I could wear in bars and on rough surfaces without fear of injury or ruining my lovely dance shoes! However, they do have some drawbacks, especially for followers, which I address in this video.
In summary, the Fuego Dance Shoes are perfect for a more casual dancer who does a lot of social dancing in bars and even outdoors. They are not suited for someone who does competitions or performances. I find them to be the perfect addition to my dance shoe arsenal. I use them for casual social dancing and save my suede dance shoes for more serious training or performances!

Summary after 1,5 years of Fuego experience: cheap material that quickly breaks down. Even in a plastic bag you get less quickly sweat and cheese feet. Said plastic bag would also have a better fit. The Fuego sneakers must have been designed for yetis: Who has no bend lowering flat feet slips unfortunately constantly with the toes forward in the tip and should immediately a packet of ibuprofen against the pain dazubestellen. Owned them now just under 1.5 years and still hate to dance in these shoes. Rather buy a pair of adidas bath slippers, in which it dances at least as well and the sole has about the same material.

Yeah.. I’ve never seen a shoe snap in that fashion. I’ll pass. Shoes are premium priced from a relatively unknown company and the quality doesn’t seem to match up in terms of longevity. The selling point of these shoes (at least for me with street styles like jookin, flexin, generally gliding) loses its value in the face of having solid foundational skill in your dancing technique.

These are absolute horrible shoes. a year in I noticed how bad my foot pain has gotten. I'd rather wear sports shoes than these.

So many people are wearing these shoes so I deicides not to buy them, even if they are good. I just don't want to look like all other people on the dance floor. There are many other good alternatives.

It would be great to have a true leather option so that these last longer and don’t go straight to the trash.
