Never really followed the story, him or his company until it all imploded a few days ago. But watching this interview is incredibly alarming the amount of guessing they were doing on distressed assets, the complete lack of due diligence or DD under extremely tight deadlines. It's effectively just gambling with investor money and hoping something sticks. It's so indicative of modern day investors who've got away with murder gambling on everything and anything and making money doing it.. at least until the Federal Reserve pulled the rug and changed the entire macro environment. None of this generation could have possibly sen this coming simply because they had no idea what to look for.
