check out the redcat kaiju ext 6s it is a beast the plastic chassis never breaks the only think i can tell you that breaks if you jump and land bad or if you hit something going quick the upper aarms sometimes break i havent broke them yet and this thing hauls ass i got mine used for 200 bucks it does backflips, frontflips, even a rolling backflip it is cool check it out

Run it on 4s & it's a nutcase , need to venture to 6s , but this is such an underestimated buggy . Keep up the solid work !!

Great vid mate! Love the DR8 its one of the best value 1/8 6s vehicles available if not the best. My X-Maxx barely comes out now I have mine and parts are cheap too 😮. Keep up the great work!

Hi Ben been watching your channel for a bit now. I’m a noob to. Keep it going mate. I have a DR8 put 6s int it was like an hazbo on wheels. Thinking big rock next Mrs permitting lol

Just gave you a sub buddy. I’m totally new to all this at the age of 63 😂 young at heart. I own the Traxxas Bigfoot and FTX carnage at the moment but would love a x maxx 8s but just can’t afford the price. The FTX dr8 looks brilliant and a bit larger. Lee up the great work Paul

I loved the carnage it’s a good truck for the money. I’d love an x maxx one day but they are expensive. I’m only 45 but 63 is still young. that’s the good thing with rc your never too old to play with toys.😉

Great review 👍I’ve a treat myself new car coming up (that’s what I’m going with😆) and this might be it? I’ve seen about the hinge pin problem but it’s a£16 upgrade to metal I think? The price is great it’s really fast looks good and made you smile, that’s what it’s all about 😎

Yes there’s two at the back £13 each and two at the front same price so £52 for all four Cheap enough but a fair chunk of cash to outlay. Still worth it for the smile.

Another question the gt5 controller, do you have to alter anything on the cars? Or does it just pick the signal up Thanks Paul

Hi Paul thanks for the questions. The gt5 will link to up to 20 different models but you will have to buy matching receivers for them, which can get a bit expensive alternatively you can use a dumbo rc transmitter and buy the matching receivers which are cheaper but you can’t select models like the gt5 it just binds to whichever one is turned on. I use both and both work well. Hope that helps.

What batteries would you recommend for this please

I use two overlander 3 s batteries for it. I’ve not done any comparisons between cheap and expensive but these work well. I’ve also just got a 6s zop power one to see how that works and will use that this weekend so we’ll see,Zop power is cheap Banggood special. battery’s are pretty expensive but I might buy an expensive one to do a comparison at some point.

Watching from Japan 🇯🇵 and English , wish they sold them in Japan , Tamiya here , good but not that fast and strong 👊🏻👍🏻

The video doesn’t do the speed justice it’s a missile. I had an old lady come over with her dog and say “that’s epic” which made me laugh wish I’d filmed it.

Talk to Tomley, he had to adjust the shocks to make it jump better! Wish I could get one here in the USA 🇺🇸 😪 😕

I’ve found that taking off the spare wheel made it more balanced and jumps better. Also I wound the shocks off (like Tomley) did) it’s awesome now. It’s a shame they don’t make it in the USA. Thanks for watching.

I run mine on 2s and 3s sometimes . It must be CRAZY on 6s !!!!

I fit 23mm wider hexhubs on mine at a cost of just over £10 from Aliexpress, makes it handle even better, it needs a 25kg servo as well m8,the stock servo is too slow 😁

Yes the steering servo is a bit weak. I’ve also put the wheels off my outcast on it looks mean but not sure what it’s going to do to the handling.

I have the atom version it comes with batteries. Yes it is fast 60 mph
