The Outrunners got that 1980s NWA feel to them.

Here’s an idea for the Hook 🪝 storyline. What if Hook goes to Samoa Joe not as a potential opponent but as an apprentice or protege. There are a lot of similarities between the two characters/wrestlers. Joe can teach him and lead him to the best version of himself and then they can ultimately turn on each other which will do great for both men. That way we as fans don’t feel as if Hook is being shoved down our throats and it makes Joe’s anti-hero vibe pop even more. Like I stated it’s just an idea.

I like that. Samoa Joe has been compared over his career to taz, hooks father. Having him learn from one of the best is not a bad idea, then a feud to bring it all full circle. 💯

Hook shouldn’t be selling as much and his punches should cause more "damage”. When he first debuted, he was super intense which made him stand out because he’s a regular sized dude. It made him look like a million bucks.

I'm here to say The Outrunners are awesome and such a great throwback feel. Keep it up Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum... Epic names.

This is really sloppy. The kid should not be competing at any level physically. He should not have a wrestler's moveset. The only way to make hook believeable is to give him a moveset unique solely to him. Maybe a movemset that emphasizes hand speed and lateral movement. Make him a boxer ffs.

Only in aew can jobber looking talents be pushed as main event stars and actual main event calibre looking wrestlers are sidelined to irrelevancy

Time for hook to challenge for ROH pure championship vs wheeler yuta in a pure rules match since the win at worlds end remember unfinished business from ROH final battle and add his name to the list of former pure champions like shibata and josh woods

They should have done a best of 3. 1st match for the FTW, second one for the Pure, third one with both titles on the line. It would have given both HOOK and Yuta a meaningful feud. They both need it.
